Being hopelessly in love with someone you can't have is probably one of the worst feelings in the world. You see the person everyday in school. They walk past you and act like you're not even there. You see them at the mall and you want to talk to them but you feel too insecure. They are popular and have girls and boys around them all the time, while you quietly walk past them.

My best friend Amy always tries to get me to talk to the dark haired boy I admire. But other than her, I'm way too shy for that. He is a jock. Tall. Tanned. Muscular. Dark hair. Chocolate brown eyes and a smile that made fireworks explode in my belly.

"(Y/N) are you listening?" Amy whispered and ripped me out of my thoughts about Calum. He sat across the classroom, playing with his phone under the table. "Sorry, but I was listening to our teacher." I lied.

"Bullshit. You we're daydreaming about you and Cal over there." She grinned and casually pointed over to Calum. A light red appeared on my cheeks. "No I wasn't." I mumbled and looked down to my hands.

Amy's eyebrows raised. "I dare you to kiss Mr. Dreamy, if you do it, I'll invite you to the new fancy restaurant downtown, if you don't you have to invite me." My heart sank into my knees at the thought of kissing Calum's soft lips. "No I can't just kiss him." I said and shook my head. "Great. So, when will you invite me?" She grinned.

"Mrs. Bass, Mrs. (Y/L/N), you may didn't notice but we're in class. I would appreciate it if you would pay attention." Our teacher said with a stern voice. "Sorry Mrs. Cooper." We said at the same time. I peaked over to Calum and noticed him looking at us, with a cheeky smile on his face. Quickly I turned away and tried to follow the lesson.

The rest of the class went by too slowly. My through we're full of Calum and the dare. Should I do it? I'd probably make a big ass fool of myself. I can't go to Calum and kiss him just like that.
Especially not when he's surrounded by all of his friends. But on the other hand, I would finally have the chance to kiss him. I mean it's a dare, I have to do it. And I'm honestly not interested in giving Amy the satisfaction.

When all classes were over, Amy and I went to our lockers to put our heavy books away. "So, you gonna do it or what? Okay stupid question, you're not gonna do it anyways." She chuckled and literally threw her books inside the small locker. Before I could reply to her question, I noticed Calum and one of his friends, walking in our direction.

"Watch me." I snapped and approached Calum. I stopped him by putting my hands on his chest. Without any hesitation I pressed my lips against his.
They honestly felt so much softer and better than I always imagined. To my surprise he didn't pull away. Calum got into the kiss pretty fast. He put his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. Fireworks exploded, this kiss was the best feeling I ever experienced.

When we broke the kiss I felt my face getting red. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. I felt like a fish out of the water, opening and closing my mouth like an idiot. "Wow what was that one for?" Calum chuckled.

"Uhm you know Amy dared me to kiss you." I mumbled and looked and him rather shocked at my previous actions. "Well I'm glad she did." He grinned. I furrowed my brows together, "What? Why?" I asked confused.

Calum shrugged his shoulders and smiled. "This may sound dumb but I actually wanted to do that as well. I was not sure if you like me. Seems like you do though."

"Oh you think so?" I teased and raised an eyebrow. "You wouldn't have kissed me if you didn't like me." He smirked. "Someone's a bit cocky." I said. "You'd love to kiss me again don't you?" He asked with a bright smile on his face.
"Oh there is no way she is gonna kiss you again." Amy laughed. "Watch me." I grinned and connected our lips once again.
