Chapter Twelve

Hongjoong awkwardly shuffled into Felix's room. It was small and quaint. He had a desk against the wall and a bed propped up against the corner. Seonghwa dropped his bag by the door and leaned against the wall. "So what do we need to do exactly," Seonghwa spoke up first, pushing himself off the wall.

"I think today we should just brainstorm some ideas. Come up with a concept for our song." Hongjoong replied as he pulled out his notebook and laptop from his backpack. 

"OO what about a love song!" Felix suggested and Hongjoong's eyes lit up. 

"YES! OMG Felix that's a great idea. I already have some lyrics stored away and a mix waiting pleading to be worked on." happiness seared through Hongjoong as his eyes sparkled as he and Felix squealed in excitement. Seonghwa rolled his eyes and sat on the floor next to Hongjoong. "So what do you want us to do?" 

Hongjoong looked over at Seonghwa next to him and couldn't help the blush that overtook his features. He stared at Seonghwa pulled out a notebook and began scribbling on one of the pages. His eyes lingered on his face, the soft tan skin that sparkled in the golden sun, the pink flesh of his wet lips and his dark chocolate eyes. His eyes travelled to his broad shoulders and the white collar of his shirt sticking to his neck and his tie hanging loosely around his neck. When he looked down he noticed his sleeve was rolled up, meaning his tattoo would be revealed. But before Hongjoong could look at it, Seonghwa pulled his sleeve down and glared at Hongjoong. 

Hongjoong's face turned even redder at getting caught staring and quickly reverted his attention back to Felix. "L-Let's figure out parts yeah?" 

Hongjoong was getting ready to leave Felix's. It was already sunset and they had just ended up spending the rest of the time chatting and laughing. Seonghwa hadn't bothered staying any longer and left without a word. Hongjoong only rolled his eyes as Seonghwa got up and left. Felix was walking Hongjoong to the front door when he suddenly stopped him by the wrist. Hongjoong turned around and stood in the doorway as he watched Felix nervously tremour. "Is something wrong Lix?" Hongjoong looked worridly at the younger. 

"Um- actually... I-... I was wondering if you'd wanna go out- like on- on a date... with me... tomorrow." 

Hongjoong stood frozen, mouth agape as Felix played with his thumbs nervously, looking at his feet. "Felix- I-"

"Shit hyung, I'm so sorry. I shoulnd't have said that-" 

"No- I just- I don't know what to say-" 

"It's okay. Think about it." Felix said as he smiled. "Good night hyung." 

The next day at school, Hongjoong could feel the stares. And they weren't good. Hongjoong never got 'good stares'. He knew something was up. As he approached his locker, he saw Felix by his. He slowly approached the younger and waved but Felix only gave him a sad look. "Hey hyung. Um sorry about yesterday... I didn't realise you and Seonghwa are-"

"Huh? What about Seonghwa?" Jongho suddenly came up from behind Hongjoong and wrapped his arm around his shoulder. 

"It-It's nothing.. Bye hyung, I'll talk to you in class." Felix gave Hongjoong a sad smile, a smile that made Hongjoong's heart hurt. Jongho smiled widely and waved as the younger male walked past them to his class. His smile suddenly dropped along with the arm around Hongjoong's shoulder as he came to stand in front of him. "There's something you should know hyung."

"Hm? What is it?" 

"There's rumours about you and Seonghwa. That you guys are soulmmates."
