At lunch Hongjoong, Mingi and Jongho were supposed to meet up at his locker. After class had finished, Hongjoong went straight to his locker and began putting his books away. Mingi was taking a while so he pulled out his phone and decided to message Felix.

@KimJoongie

Hongjoong put his phone away and shut his locker. "Hongjoong?" he heard a voice call out. He looked towards the source of the voice and saw Seonghwa approaching. "What are you still doing here?"

"Oh... um. I was- I was waiting for Mingi." Hongjoong looked down at his feet, fiddling with his fingers. Seonghwa noticed how nervous he had got and smirked, 'that's cute' he thought. He reached to grab Hongjoong's wrist and held it gently. "Let's go." he said as he walked towards the cafeteria, pulling Hongjoong along with him. Hongjoong's face was beating red at the sudden touch. Once Seonghwa knew Hongjoong was following along, he let go of his wrist unsure if he was comfortable with it. What he didn't know was that Hongjoong suddenly felt empty from the loss of his touch.

They entered the cafeteria, grabbing a tray of food each and walking towards their friends. "Hyung!" Wooyoung yelled as he ran and wrapped Hongjoong in a tight hug, nuzzling his head in the crock of Hongjoong's neck.

Seonghwa awkwardly cleared his throat, catching the others' attention. Wooyoung looked up at him with a confused expression. "What's wrong hyung- ahhh right sorry." Wooyoung released Hongjoong and walked with them to the table. They sat in silence as they ate their meals.

'Hyung." San looked up at Hongjoong who was peacefully eating his pork cutlet. "Are we doing anything today?"

"Why would we?" Hongjoong replied, setting his fork down and looking up at the other.

"It's your birthday today. We should do something to celebrate."

Hongjoong didn't mind the idea of celebrating with his friends. Maybe this would give him another chance to be with Seonghwa.

"Sure. How about we go to the arcade after school?" He suggested and everyone agreed.

Once lunch was over, Mingi apologised for not being there. The teacher needed his help with something and wasn't able to make it in time. They caught him up with their plans to go to the arcade after school and they all agreed to meet at the arcade at 4pm.

The last school bell rang for the day, signalling it was home time. Hongjoong rushed home to get changed into something more pleasant than his school uniform. When it was time to meet everyone at the arcade he was surprised to see Seonghwa waiting alone.
