That evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the city, Hongjoong and Seonghwa found themselves sitting on a quiet rooftop, their feet dangling over the edge. The city lights twinkled below, mirroring the stars in the night sky.

Seonghwa took a deep breath, his eyes fixed on the horizon. "Hongjoong," he began, his voice soft but steady, "I never thought I would find someone who would accept me for who I am."

Hongjoong turned to face him, his heart swelling with affection. "Seonghwa, you don't have to be anyone other than yourself," he replied, his words filled with sincerity. "I've always admired you for who you are. You're strong, resilient, and caring, even if you don't always show it."

Seonghwa's lips curved into a small smile, a genuine warmth in his eyes. "You have a way of seeing through me," he admitted, his tone both teasing and appreciative.

Hongjoong chuckled softly, nudging Seonghwa playfully with his shoulder. "Well, you're not that hard to read once you let your guard down," he said, his gaze softening. "And I'm grateful that you've chosen to let me in."

Seonghwa reached out and intertwined his fingers with Hongjoong's, their hands fitting together perfectly. "I'm grateful too," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "You've brought something special into my life, something I never thought I'd have."

Hongjoong turned to face Seonghwa fully, their eyes locked in a moment of profound understanding. "You deserve all the happiness in the world, Seonghwa," he said tenderly. "And I'll do everything I can to make sure you find it."

Seonghwa leaned in, closing the distance between them, and their lips met in a gentle kiss. It was a kiss that spoke of hope, trust, and the promise of a future together. They were two souls meant to be, navigating the unknown with courage and love, ready to embrace the destiny that had brought them together.

As they pulled back, Seonghwa rested his forehead against Hongjoong's, their breaths mingling once again. "I'm glad I took that chance on us," Seonghwa whispered, his voice tinged with emotion.

Hongjoong smiled, his heart overflowing with love for the person in front of him. "Me too," he replied, his voice filled with happiness. "This journey with you is something I'll cherish forever."

And so, on that rooftop under the stars, Hongjoong and Seonghwa embraced their shared destiny. They didn't know where the path would lead them, but they had each other, and that was enough. Together, they were ready to face whatever challenges and joys the future held, guided by the connection of their souls and the love that had been written in the stars.

Monday came like an eager messenger of change. The sun rose with a vibrant display of colors, painting the sky with hues of gold and pink. For Hongjoong and Seonghwa, it marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives—a chapter they were both excited and nervous to explore. As the school bell rang, signaling the start of the day, Hongjoong found himself looking forward to seeing Seonghwa more than ever before. He couldn't shake off the butterflies in his stomach, knowing that their relationship had taken a significant turn. They were no longer just friends; they were soulmates, two hearts intertwined by a cosmic force.

In the hallway, as students bustled around them, Hongjoong finally caught sight of Seonghwa, leaning against the lockers with his signature nonchalant expression. But this time, there was something different about him. There was a hint of a smile on his lips and a sparkle in his eyes.

Seonghwa noticed Hongjoong approaching and greeted him with a casual nod. "Hey," he said, his voice warm with genuine affection.

"Hey," Hongjoong replied, feeling a rush of happiness at the simple greeting. He couldn't help but smile back at Seonghwa.

As they walked to their first class together, they fell into an easy conversation, talking about their plans for the week and sharing funny anecdotes. It felt so natural, as if they had always been this close.

Music class was something Hongjoong was not looking forward to. He spotted Felix from afar, talking and laughing with some classmates. Hongjoong hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to approach the situation. Part of him wanted to pretend that nothing had happened, to carry on as if the date hadn't taken place. But he knew that would only create more awkwardness between them.

Summoning his courage, Hongjoong walked over to Felix. He took a deep breath and spoke, trying to keep his voice steady. "Hey, Felix. Can we talk for a moment?"

Felix turned to face him, and for a moment, Hongjoong saw a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. "Sure, hyung. What's up?" Felix replied, trying to act nonchalant.

Hongjoong led them to a quieter corner of the classroom, away from prying ears. He knew he needed to be honest with Felix. "About our date last Friday," Hongjoong began, choosing his words carefully, "I wanted to be honest with you. I had a nice time, but I need to tell you that my heart isn't in it. There's someone else I have feelings for, and it's complicated because we recently found out we're soulmates."

Hongjoong didn't know what he expected, but he definitely didn't expect Felix to smile and nod. "Don't worry. I knew already, hyung."

Hongjoong blinked in surprise, his eyebrows furrowing as he tried to comprehend Felix's response. "You knew?" he repeated, his voice tinged with confusion.

Felix chuckled softly, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Yeah, I kind of had a feeling," he admitted, shrugging casually. "I mean, I've seen how you look at Seonghwa, and it's not the same way you looked at me during our date. Plus, I noticed how you two have been getting closer lately."

Hongjoong felt a mix of relief and embarrassment wash over him. He hadn't been as discreet as he thought he was, and now, it seemed that Felix had seen through his attempts to hide his feelings. He chuckled awkwardly, rubbing the back of his neck.

"I guess I'm not as good at hiding things as I thought," Hongjoong replied sheepishly.

Felix grinned, nudging Hongjoong playfully. "It's all good, hyung," he said. "Honestly, I'm happy for you. Seonghwa seems like a great guy, and if you two are soulmates, then that's pretty amazing."

Hongjoong's heart warmed at Felix's understanding and support. "Thank you, Felix," he said sincerely. "I really appreciate your understanding."

Felix nodded, his smile widening. "Of course. And don't worry, I won't make things awkward for you guys," he assured Hongjoong. "I value our friendship, and I won't let something like this get in the way."

Hongjoong felt a sense of gratitude for Felix's maturity and genuine friendship. "You're a great friend, Felix," he said, genuinely meaning every word. "And I'm glad we can still be friends."

"Me too, hyung," Felix replied. "Now, go and be with your soulmate. I can see how much he means to you, and you should cherish that."

Hongjoong smiled warmly, feeling a renewed sense of excitement and affection for Seonghwa. "I will," he said. "Thank you again, Felix. You deserve someone who can give you their whole heart, And I hope you find that person."
