chapter 12 - school

pacifica awoke in her bed, it was cold, she glanced at her clock as it read 6am, she got up and headed to the kitchen where she proceeded to pour herself a bowl of cereal and head back to her room completely forgetting what occurred the previous night. an hour had passed as pacifica heard a knock on her door

"come in" she said

her uncle walked in and said "hey paz, you need to get ready for your first day of school, sadly i can't really homeschool because i don't have the right stuff for it, anyway i'll see you out her in 15 minutes so i can drive you"

pacifica nodded as he walked out, got up and got changed with a bit of excitement to finally go to a real school.

half an hour passed and pacifica stepped out of her uncles car ready to start her new school, she walked into the pretty big building as she waved to her uncle and went inside to collect her timetable

(i'll only include important parts of school)

(time skip to the 4th lesson, there's 6 periods but this might be the only one i do. for this chapter at least)

pacifica looked down at her timetable

"ugh science, never good at stuff like chemistry" she thought to herself

she entered the classroom and took a seat near the back, the teacher walked in and sat down

"good afternoon class" she said "as you probably already know we have a new student with us" she pointed over to pacifica "come up to the front and introduce yourself to everyone"

pacifica reluctantly got up and stood at the front shaking

"h-hey i-i'm pacifica a-and i uhm" she blushed out of embarrassment and the teacher gestured for her to go back to her seat which she did.

after class was over the teacher stopped pacifica from leaving

"pacifica, i'd like you to come see me at the end of the day ok?"

pacifica looked back at her and nodded as she headed to her next class

(another time skip to the end of the day 'cause i'm lazy)

pacifica walked back to the science unit and knocked on the door, she heard a "come in" from the other side and walked in going over to the desk

"pacifica im glad you came back, not many kids tend to do that, you're not in trouble i just want to say that try learning hiw to talk to people, we can't have you stumbling on your words like that all the time" the teacher said

pacifica smiled "okay i'll try my best, thank you ms ashton" she responded with as she walked out waving to her.

When the young girl left the building, standing right in the centre of the small grass sections outside the school was someone she knew all too well...
