standing right in the centre of the small grass sections outside the school was someone pacifica knew all too well, dipper pines, she ran over to his directions smiling with a slight blush
"hey dipper!" she said stopping right behind him
dipper turned around to see who it was and his eyes widened
"p-pacifica, what are you doing here?" he said clearly shocked to see her
"I'm living here now due to an incident with my parents. I stayed at the shack a while before moving down here but that's besides the point, I'm so happy to see you again" pacifica responded very bubbly
'hmm so that's why ford's been blowing up my phone for the past 2 months' dipper thought to himself "well i'm happy to see you too pacifica" he said
pacifica looked around confused as if she was trying to find something
"hey, where's the crazy half?" she said sounding concerned
"oh, mabel's at home 'cause she hasn't been feeling well the past few days, she should be back tomorrow though so you can see her then" dipper responded with smiling
out of the corner of her eye pacifica noticed her uncle's car pull up
"sorry but I've got to go, tell mabel i say hi and see you tomorrow dipper" she said and briefly hugged him before going over to her uncle
dipper blushed "y-yeah i will, see you tomorrow paz" he said watching her leave.
dipper started walking home thinking to himself 'oh my god i can't believe she willingly hugged me without giving a reason for it' he proceeded to silently celebrate all the way home.

pacifica arrived home and dumped her backpack in her room and headed back out to the kitchen to see her uncle
"what's gotten you all excited?" he said with an eyebrow raised
"sorry it's just that i met dipper again after almost 3 months, i missed him so it was justifiable" she responded
bill's face became serious now almost angry "damn pine tree" he shook his head "whoa, sorry don't know what came over me there, I'm glad you reunited with your friend" her uncle said smiling
pacifica began feeling suspicious about him again, it was as if he had 2 sides to him, she decided to ignore it and went to her room for most of the remaining day, but had an idea to keep a journal to catalogue all of her uncles weird moments.
