1 month had passed since pacifica moved into the mystery shack, she was missing dipper day by day at this point, she decided to look through so stuff she hadn't touched in since her arrival, she opened it to find some old baby pictures with a random phone number on top of everything, she called it not knowing if anyone would answer
a random voice came from the other end "hello? who is this"
pacifica thought she recognised the voice but couldn't match it to anyone
"hello, my name is pacifica, i found your number in an old box i had and i was just calling to see if you knew me in some way"
the other side fell silent for a while, pacifica was confused by this until a response came through
"pacifica listen to me, i know you personally but you might not remember me, whenever you can meet me at the first bus station on your left as you enter piedmont california, when you leave, call me and i'll be there waiting for you"
pacifica thought this was just some creep trying to get her to come to him but she agreed, it was something about piedmont that enticed her to go.
A few hours later pacifica walks into the living room with stan yelling at ford because he was looking too deep into ducktective
"for crying out loud ford its a kids show about a duck, it doesn't have an underlying meaning!" stan exclaimed
"well if it didn't then why is there so much information here" ford responded
stan was left speechless with neither of them realising pacifica was in the doorway, something about the 2 old pine twins arguing over a kids show reminded her of dipper and mabel. Stan finally realised the young blonde standing there watching them fight
"you ok kid?" Stan questioned
"yeah, it's a bit of a weird request but would it be possible for either of you to take me to Piedmont in california?" pacifica asked nervously
"well lucky for you i'm actually headed down there tomorrow for some equipment i left behind" ford said
pacifica tackled ford into a hug thanking him a thousand times over as she left back up to the attic to pack her things.
