chapter 17 - deal

pacifica's uncle finally got home after being out for over 9 hours, he checked the time, 4:15AM

"good, I've got time" he said as his eyes glowed yellow

he walked down to the basement and pulled out a book placing it on a pedestal, suddenly, a blue aura formed around him as bill cipher appeared in front of his eyes.

"Michael if this isn't part of the deal and if you keep doing this you know what'll happen" the dream demon said turning completely red.

"Sorry cipher but you're not keeping up your part, you said you would get through everything hard I faced yet terrible things still keep happening. I'll let you keep using me as a vessel just don't control me as much around paz, i don't want her to know about you" michael said aggravated and defensively

bill looked at the mortal and just started laughing, he did so for about 3 minutes until he spoke up

"oh you crack me up mike, listen, your little paz almost died trying to kill me, she knows damn well who i am and i suspect she already knows of my existence with you. I'll keep out of your conversations with her but that's it, nothing else. but i must warn you, a day will come when everything you love will be gone and the world will be mine to rule. any who, do we still have our deal?" Bill said, seeming all too calm holding out his hand with the blue flame surrounding it.

Michael didn't say anything and just shook the dream demon's hand and passed out allowing easy access to his mind, he had a small bedroom set up down there so he just stayed asleep.

pacifica awoke to the sound of banging in the other room, she sat up in her sleeping bag and checked her phone, it was almost 5AM,  she got up careful not to wake up mabel or gwen and went to see what it was, she knocked on the door where the noise was coming from and saw dipper.

she knocked on the door and the 2 of them locked eyes, both gaining a slight blush

"h-hey what was that noise" pacifica asked slightly concerned.

"oh sorry if i woke you up, i was banging my head on the wall" dipper said laughing slightly "i haven't slept at all so i was just annoyed and tried to knock myself out"

pacifica looked at him confused "just go to sleep and try not to hurt yourself" she said jabbing his arm softly and walked back to mabel's room.

Both of them tried to sleep but failed with their minds being flooded by each other, the blush remained there but eventually the 2 of them fell asleep and the blush faded, but safe to say it wouldn't be gone for long.

"AAAAHHHHGGGG i need to sleep, i've been up for 4 days!" ford exclaimed shoving a stack of papers on the floor.

Ford hadn't told dipper he had been depriving himself of sleep and whenever he looked like he was dozing off he blamed it on being old. Ford decided enough was enough and laid down on the table in the kitchen falling asleep instantly. there was no bed unfortunately.

gwen and pacifica awoke to mabel screaming from the kitchen followed by the smell of smoke, it was 9AM. mabel thought it would be nice to make her friends breakfast, sadly she didn't know how to cook.

the other girls went downstairs and saw her with a whole raw egg in a pot, burnt toast on a baking tray and waddles playing in a rabbit cage. they don't have a rabbit.

Mabel ran outside with everything burying it in an already prepared hole. mabel stumbled back inside and sat down accepting defeat.

"Hey Mabel, sorry but I need to go, if I don't get home soon my dad will kill me" Gwen said with all her stuff running out of the house leaving Mabel and Pacifica at the kitchen table.

"soooooo paz, can I ask you something" mabel said, seeming happy again

"1. don't call me paz and 2. sure" pacifica responded with a little bit of anger

"do you like dipper?" mabel said with the brightest expression you could imagine.

pacifica tilted her head slightly "yeah i like dipper. he's a good friend"

mabel frowned and shook her head "no i mean do you 'like' dipper"

pacifica blushed slightly "well i ummm. yes i like him ok, now leave it alone. i swear to god if you tell anyone i will kill you"

mabel smiled again and zipped her mouth shut simulating throwing the key away.

pacifica finally got back home at around 1pm, her uncle's car was in the drive way but there was no sign of him. pacifica searched the entire house but there was nothing until, out of the corner of her eye she saw a bright flash of light come from the basement followed by a scream and her uncle dashing up the stairs.

"THE SQUID ESCAPED" bill said turning his head and seeing pacifica looking at him both shocked and frightened

"oh hey paz, sorry about that" he said scratching the back of his neck slightly embarrased.

pacifica backed away quietly returning to her room again while bill sat at the kitchen table after making himself a cup of tea.

"cipher, i'm ready for the deal" bill whispered.

as soon as the words left his mouth the dream demon's silhouette appeared infront of him.

"i knew you'd come around eventually, i mean it's not bad, i destroy the vortex rip while in control of you body when the solar system aligns in a years time and everything bad that's in your life disappears. although enjoy your life while you can Michael. you won't return from this" cipher said as his hand glowed a bright blue to signify the deal.

micheal shook cipher's hand "But remember, you keep my friends and family safe. you've been beaten before so it can happen again"

(i'm sorry but they're here and as a surprise for all the delay i've given you all 2 chapters, i really hope you enjoy because i certainly enjoy writing them, i can't wait to speak to you all again soon. also i will be referring to pacifica's uncle as bill except for when he's talking to cipher, i hope that clears things up and his name is michael just to clarify, also also i'll write the dates before each chapter now because they'll be important and this one takes place in march 2012. anyway, love y'all)
