Donna's days seemed to be getting brighter.

It was much easier to be around Wendy since day after nothing changed, she never went back on her words or made comments about her face.

There were moments she regretted that she stopped her hands, wondering what the other hid under that mask but she was all to knowledgeable about the want to hide it from the world so she never asked.

Tho currently she was wearing the veil, why? The vampire daughters didn't feel like waiting a few more weeks for they sowing lessons and they popped up on cold morning in several layers of winter clothes they were stuffed in at the front door of Donna.

"You messed it up Cassandra!"

"Shut up! No you mess it up!"

"Stop it both of you! Don't you see this is how it is supposed to be made?"

Donna sat there with a piece of fabric, sighing through her nose at the squabbling daughters as in reality none succeeded in recreating what she was showing them.

She still smiled, it was a welcome distraction from her monotone life but then again it was not that monotone anymore.

"Girls it is supposed to look like this." Wendy held up the perfectly mimicked stitch pattern, having been sitting in the armchair pushed in the corner of the room.

"Cheater! Angie helped you!" Daniela pointed at her.

"As if I would help her!" Angie sounded offended.

"How nice of you." Wendy grumbled making Donna chuckle.

"Oh why thank you!"

"Now now, no one fight, I'll go make tea alright? Set nothing on fire." Donna whispered as she stood up and walked out.

"How would we even do that? The chimney has a metal caging and a lock on it to not be open." Wendy said.

"Trust me, they've done it." She told her before leaving her with the girls since they seemed to get along since the last meeting where they met and she helped Cassandra out.

Donna put the kettle on the fire and wondered about what she knew, more then certain Wendy and Miranda had history but she's missing a piece to connect them since Miranda seemed to be missing pieces too but Wendy herself seemed to have the whole puzzle completed.

She knew she'd get her answer if she asked but feared next time she met Miranda she wouldn't be able to withhold the information from her.

It's been some time, the bruise faded but she still remembered the feeling of that hand and the yelling the ensued between all the lords and Miranda.

She sighed, hating being the center of attention.... Well unless it was not Wendy's attention she throne-ed in.

"You should really tell her you know? It is pathetic." Angie who followed her said, arms crossed.

"I know." She covered her face, shaking her head. "But what if she leaves? I don't want to scare her away."

"Donna!" "Aye!!" Donna covered her head as Angie hit her with her little fists. "What's this for?"

"You are truly blind, one more then the other, she will not leave you even if you give her freedom, I don't think a little confession will make her run away."

"I don't know." The kettle's whistle saved her from more talking as she hurried to put the tea bags in the cups she prepared on a platter.

And in that moment, Angie decided she'd take things in hand.

Donna poured the tea and brought it back to the bickering trio who made their stitches even worst then before as Wendy, bless her cold heart, was trying to explain in her own way how to do it.... And horribly failing at it.

"Now girls, stop fighting." She handed each a cup and each happily accepted.

But when she tried to give Wendy her own her heels were caught in a fold of the carpet that didn't exist moments before.

"Wow!!"

Donna closed her eyes, expecting to smack her face on the floor but it never came, she hit something soft instead.

"Awe you falling for me~?" A half amused suave voice came.

She looked up, seeing Wendy had caught the cup and the saucer with ease and she had fell in her lap.

Donna jumped up and too her feet, face boiling.

"I-I am s-so sorry!!" Stuttering heavily as the sisters laughed at her reaction making her blush worst.

"You could have asked you know, this seat is free." Donna felt like melting as she escaped to the kitchen. "Noooo don't leave!" Laugh followed.

"Oh my Mother Miranda why?!!!" She felt like she was over heating.

She saw a fly annoying buzz near her, buzzing the tune of "K-I-S-S-I-N-G IN A TREE" that childish little song.

She flicked it with her fingers, hard, hearing one of the sisters cry out an "OUCH!!!" While the others laughed at her misery.

She shook her head with a smile the crept on her face after the offended fly returned to the swarm, not wanting another flick to the head.

Angie was ready for anything to make her new 'OTP' as the young humans call it come true and, looking at the sisters, she found her new allies.
