Amara's POV

I remember when I was first told that Allysandra and I are to live in the North as wards of Lord Eddard Stark. I hated the idea but now I cannot imagine not living here.
The air up in the north is so pure and the Starks are kind to me and my little sister.
And on top of all of that 'I' a 'Lady' of a great house is allowed to learn sword fighting.

Lady Catelyn was not too keen on me learning how to fight but I had promised her that I would not be distracted from my duties as a lady and learn how to be a lady of a great house.

Lady Sansa Stark is now 2 name days old and I love spending time with her, looking at her I can already tell she is going to be a proper lady when she grows up beuatiful and kind, the kind her Mother would be proud of.

So here I am learning how to sew with Septa Lavinya. I am soon to turn 8 but I already feel so much older, Allysandra and Robb's 5th name day has already passed and now my 8th name day and Jon's 5th name day are near.

As happy as everything seems I am filled with anger since morrow.

Amara swings her sword at the Lord repeatedly, while Ned just stands in one place.

"You are moving too much, stay in one position and then swing," says Ned

Amara plants her feet and swings again but the experienced Lord just moves his arm a little. This time Amara lunges at Ned and he moves just a little to the side and Amara falls flat on her face.

Jon and Robb standing not too far in the courtyard start laughing at Amara, Allysandra tries to stop them but they don't.

Amara gets up angrily and storms off in the direction of the Gods Wood.

Amara keeps swinging her sword angrily but is still careful not to hurt the tree, once again Amara stumbles on a root and falls but doesn't make an impact she is caught in the air by Ned stark.

"Thank you, my lord," Amara says and bows.

"When we started your training you promised me that you would not lose focus.
But you have been distracted since we started today, what is the reason talk to me" Ned says calmly.

Amara thinks whether she should say anything at all, but tries her hand at it.

"When uncle Benjen was here the last time, I asked him to take me to the Wall just once I wanted to go and see the wall once. Also I have heard that Castle black has a really big library maintained by the Maester there.
He refused me, but agreed to take Jon with him." Amara says with anger and sadness
