Cerelle's POV
Cerelle had woken up from excruciating pain in her belly the little babe in her was becoming restless.
Cerelle screamed and both of her children woke up Amara looking at her mother with those big eyes. Cerelle tried to smile to reassure her children that she is okay but with that when came another ear-piercing scream and that is when Vhaegar decided to start crying and then came another scream when a few handmaidens ran inside the Lady's chamber along with Cerelle's brother Ser Jamie.
It was long labor not as long as the first one but still long, the Master's and handmaid's working hard and after going as long as almost 38 hours the new babe was born a little girl.
Cerelle had already lost soo much blood and Jamie stayed by her side through it all, and as Cerelle lost more blood and constantly losing consciousness she remembered how she didn't hear the baby's cries.
Cerelle fought hard to stay conscious now and called her brother's name out "Jamie I want to hold my child, let me see my baby". She cried.
Jamie made a face and nodded his head and said "No, you don't want to see her like this". Cerelle cried even harder now, a baby girl. Daereon and she had a bet that she will have another daughter she argued that she is the mother and the babe lives in her therefore she know him to be a boy, but Daereon refuted her by saying "you might the mother my darling wife but I am the queen maker and our children they are the second coming of Visenya, Aegon and Rhaenys Targaryen respectively". And she has just now lost her daughter.
Jaime's POV
Just then the door opened to see little Amara and Vhaegar walk in, Jamie yells at one of the handmaid's to take the twins back to their room but Amara rushes towards her newborn sister who looked so blue but calm and unmoving Vhaegar ran to his mother and uncle crying in his uncle's embrace.
The doors open again and one of the servants runs in screaming for Ser Jamie Lannister, Jamie leaves the room a few seconds and in runs, Elia Martell with her children tears running down her face crying loudly and before Jamie could stop the dornish princess she screams "They are dead Rhaegar and Daereon died at the battle of the trident" there simply wasn't any way of taking those words back.
Jamie saw his sweet little Amara crying for the first time since she was born and Vhaegar cried even harder holding onto his mother for dear life.
Amara then takes her little sister's body to her mother's bed Cerelle couldn't move earlier but now she took both of her daughter's and son in her arms and cried silent tears.
Amara looked up at her mother and down at her sister in her arms, Cerelle calls me towards herself and says what I knew to be her last words "Promise me you will not let them touch my children, promise you will protect them from all harm and danger even if it is our own blood that wants to do harm, Promise me Jamie promise me".
