Trissalia Pearl
“We are relieved that you are now awake, Mrs. Ynares.” The doctor announced while checking my vitals.
“Is it normal that my wife experience severe headache?” Code asks the doctor while possessively wrapping his arms on my shoulders. Napasulyap ang doctor doon.
“It is expected and we won't say it's normal. As of the current, we have to wait for your test results before giving you your diagnosis. However, please take the medicines I'll prescribed on you, that will lessen the pain,” he answered like I was the one who asked. I simply hid my smirk when my husband snickered.
“Thanks, doctor.” He nodded and bid goodbye together with his nurse.
Right, how could I forget about these people?
“Jelly-O I feel!” Karlston hit a note where Code only responded him with a serious glare.
I want to laugh. What's with the husbands and their unreasonable jealousy with male doctors? Gosh.
“Salia, kumurap ka nga sandali.”
Napapantastikuhang lumingon ako kina Ulysses at Karlston.
Code remain unfazed with his gaze remained at me. Kanina pa siya tahimik. He's acting like he's thinking deeper than the ocean.
Kaibigan? And the last time I checked, pinag-awayan pa namin ni Code si Ulysses but seeing him here, hindi ko maiwasang magtaka.
“Shut up, the two of you. Ayon sa kanila ay may lahi itong Amerikano ngunit dito na nag-aral ng high school and finished his college in US but came back here for reasons.
“Narinig ko kasing bumulong si Isaiah kanina tapos sabi niya, 'she still looks like a doll.'” panggagaya niya sa boses ni Isaiah na siya naman ikinapalatak ng lalaki. My eyes diverted on Lake whose eyes were shut. I cross-examined him earlier and noticed that aside from Code, he has the subjucating presence. Recognition flashes before his eyes everytime our gaze meet.
“Boy, I won't even let her go.” Isaiah smirked, eyes were taunting directly at the woman whom I felt her uneasiness.
“It's true naman that Salia is a living doll,” Liberty cooed.
The ambiance changed and I couldn't help but be more anxious of them.
Ho, my husband is paranoid man.
