“Are you sure you don't want to stay here in our home? I know you like this house.”

I licked my lower lip to prevent my self from zipping his mouth. And honestly, I really liked it here. Tahimik at maganda ang lugar. Malayo sa nakakabinging ugong ng siyudad but as of now, I can't. Besides, this is really not my home.

“Nasa Metro ang trabaho ko, you know I just can't leave it there. Ikaw rin, hindi ba? Ilang kumpanya ba ang hawak mo? Mas busy ka pa kumpara sa akin.” I explained while fixing my hair.

We act like a normal, real couple but the truth is, we are not. And I hate the fact na kailangan kong maging sunod-sunuran sa kanya para lang sa plano ko.

“I have my secretary to do my work and boys there might ogle on you, again.

Oh, goodness. His words are straightforward that I just can't accept. Napaka-affectionate niya pagdating sa akin at hindi ako sanay,  to the point na he's being absurd.

“You have your secretary but I don't have mine. I do my works alone at tsaka asawa mo naman na ako so why are you so threatened about other guys?” Seriously, I don't get his point. He's being childish.

“No, it's not like that, doll.”

“Then, what? Where is the trust we're talking about here?” I pointed out. Nagkatinginan pa kami sa salamin but he was the first one to break the contact.

He sighed in defeat. “Okay, fine. But I want you to keep this in your mind, don't let other man hit on you. Don't flirt and don't you ever dare make me jealous 'cause you won't like what I can do.”

It was like the first time he threatened me. The words were cold that makes me shiver inside. And one thing is for sure, he's a territorial man that I can't easily disobey.

There he go, again. Kanina pa siya habang nasa byahe kami pauwing Metro. Puro pick-up lines at kung ano-anong kinukwento. I even said that it's fine kung iba na ang magmaneho but he insisted. Ayaw niya raw kasi na may kasama kaming iba. So bothering.

“Are you hungry?” tanong niya.

“I am pero impossibleng makakita tayo ng drive-thru rito,” I replied, trying to humor him.

Hays, this man is sometimes—

“I prepared foods, nasa picnic basket sa backseat. Alam ko kasing gugutumin ka. You did not ate alot when breakfast.”

—genius. Laging prepared.
