[Name] couldn't think straight, not with all the commotion happening around her. Zeke was parading her around like a prized breeding mare and she just wanted to bury herself into the ground.

She was about to snap at him and tell him to leave her be, but then she heard a familiar voice call out her name in the sea of people.

"[Name]–" Ymir came out from the crowds of people towards her, and [Name] felt relief flood her veins; and despite Zeke's warning stare, her friend threw her arms around her, and squeezed her as hard as she could. "I'm–I'm so glad you're safe, Christa and Sasha were worried about you–"

"That's enough, Lady Ymir, my wife has been through too many burdens the past few days." Zeke interrupted pushing Ymir away from her and [Name]'s eyeswidened at the sudden intrusion, before she frowned and moved away from Zeke.

"I'm tired, Zeke." She murmured before turning back to Ymir. "I'm going to retire for the night. I'll be going to my Château now, come Ymir, you can call Christa and Sasha as well."

[Name] was about to walk away, she had already locked her hand around Ymir's, when Zeke pulled her back forwards him.

His grip was too tight, and his eyes were too half-lidded for her to feel comfortable.

What was he doing?

"Don't go to your Chateu, tonight." Zeke said under his breath. "Visit my chambers tonight."

The instant repulsion made vile creep its way up her throat and she tried yanking her arm out of his grasp, but then a loud gasp of tears came from the middle of the Great Hall, and both her and Zeke snapped their heads towards the commotion.

And, oh what a scene it was.

Hitch was kneeling on the floor with her arms wrapped around Eren's floor, and sobbing into his stomach. From afar she could tell Eren was trying to pull her up from the floor, but Hitch only continued to shake and cry as she held onto him.

The night they had spent together came to her in flashed, and she must've stared for too long, because before she could hide her misery, Zeke had already called out.

"Brother!"

[Name]'s stomach sunk all the way to the floor. She didn't know what Zeke was going to do, he didn't sound necessarily angry or upset, so at least in that sense they were safe.

Eren looked up at Zeke, and Hitch did her best to control her tears as Zeke began to walk towards them.

"Your–Your majesty," Hitch mumbled, dipping her head.

"What is it now–" Eren practically snarled, but then Zeke shook his head.

"It's not what you think, Eren." Zeke mumbled, and pressed his lips together for a moment, swallowing his pride, before he spoke. "I owe you an apology."
