IT'S DIFFICULT TO EXPLAIN how much a simple 'yes' can change a man's life forever, Eren couldn't seem to wrap his head around the idea that [Name] had actually agreed to marry him. He was ready to take her to a chapel right then and there, but like always something managed to get in the way.
That time it had happened to be [Name]'s oldest mongrel, begging for his mother's attention. Needless to say, she practically shoved him back out into the balcony, and usually, he would've given up and left, but he wasn't going to abandon her so simply this time... she was soon to be his wife.
Before she managed to close the door, he'd pulled her up into the quickest kiss of his life, but it was enough to make his mind race, and his thoughts go murky as the taste of her mouth tainted his sanity, before she pulled away with a shaky breath, and gave him a bright smile.
Eren mirrored back the same smile as she placed her fingers on top of her lips and shook her head.
"You're infuriating," she whispered. "You know that, right?"
Eren shook his head, "I can't wait to marry you."
Her face grew warm and she was about to speak, before another hard slam against the door interrupted her.
"[Name]!" the annoying freckled woman yelled, on the other side of the door. "His grace, Prince Gale, wants to see you."
"I know, I know give me a moment!" [Name] said, before turning back to Eren. "Tomorrow night? We can... we can read our vows somewhere... maybe in my garden?"
"No," Eren protested. "Your chapel, our vows will be read in front of God."
Her eyes widened, and she was about to speak up again before, another slam came behind the door.
"[Name]!" Ymir's muffled voice came out again.
"Dear god," [Name] hissed under her breath. "Alright, tomorrow night we can meet at my chapel... just be sure to use the path Colt showed you."
"Tomorrow night," Eren smiled.
"Tomorrow night," she nodded, before giving him one last longing look. "Goodnight, my love."
"Goodnight... my light."
