Today was Y/N's 17th birthday. The entirety of Japan were reminded of the girl who had defeated Stain. They felt sadness as they thought of the radio silence they had received over the last 2, almost 3 months from her.
The most effected was a certain blonde who had been grieving all the while in silence. He believed that showing any signs of grief to his classmates would classify him as 'weak'.
Bakugo hated feeling weak. The only person who remotely had a clue about how he was feeling after her kidnapping was Izuku Midoriya.
Midoriya had experienced Bakugo's anger first hand when they had their fight a month ago. He had noticed how Bakugo became angrier and more on edge when he had any of his rare interactions with their classmates.
But the icing on the cake to his worry was how quiet Bakugo had become. Whenever Kaminari or Sero pissed Bakugo off, he would grumble under his breath and walk away.
The entire class had noticed his odd behavior and to say they weren't worried when Bakugo would come down to breakfast with heavy bags under his eyes, was an understatement.
The Bakusquad was less lively lately too. They didn't hung out at all and they all seemed distant from one another. The kidnapping of their close friend had affected them more than the others.
When Bakugo walked down for breakfast today, the class was silent. He furrowed his brows at their behavior and grabbed a plate of pancakes, sitting down at the large dining table.
The class was dead quiet, the only sound being the scraping of cutlery. It was as if they were in mourning but in reality they didn't even know it was the girls' birthday.
They just all felt the pain of her absence today more than ever. In annoyance of the silence, Momo turned the T.V on. The news channel switched on and filled the silence with the broadcast.
"Today marks the 17th birthday of Japan's favorite Semi-Pro Hero, Nova." Spoke the woman who was broadcasting the news.
The scraping of cutlery stopped and they all sat in shock, except Todoroki and Shinso for they already knew it was her birthday.
Bakugo gripped his fork tighter at the mention of the girl. The news continued, "Its been a few months since her kidnapping and fans all over Japan are paying respects to her 17th birthday by having a fireworks display at 10 o'clock tonight." She added.
The class all looked to the T.V staring with sad eyes as pictures of their friend and classmate showed up on the screen.
They all missed her. They all thought she was either dead or being tortured. Everyone except Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki and Shinso that is.
The four boys knew she would be fine but they couldn't help but worry for her. Bakugo had spent almost 3 months worrying for her and deep down he knew he wouldn't stop until she was safe in his arms.
As the broadcast continued, Bakugo snapped his fork and slammed his hands on the table. He rose from his seat and stormed towards the door, scruffly pulling on his shoes.
"Bakugo! You just snapped another fork! Abusing our utensils is extremely disrespectful!" Iida scolded as he stood up from his spot.
Bakugo growled, "Shut the fuck up four eyes." He said as he finished putting his shoes on. "Bakubro! Where are you going?" Kirishima quizzed as Bakugo grabbed his scarf.
"To the fucking Hero Liscense classes." He grumped, storming out and slamming the dorm doors. The class was stunned to silence for a second after that.
Todoroki spoke up, "I better get going too." He said putting his plate away and grabbing his own scarf. He put his shoes on and also walked out.
