"And now for the moment we've all been waiting for!" The award show had been going on for a while at this point. It was almost going to come to a close, right after the main event.

There were cameras everywhere, filming it live and broadcasting it to the entirety of Japan. They occasionally zoomed in on us to gage our reactions. "The top ten heroes!" The announcer said with a smile larger than life, enticing the crowd with his enthusiastic persona.

"In tenth place, we have The dragon hero: Ryukyu!" I clapped loudly as Ryukyu made her way up the large stairs. She stood at the the tenth place and he continued.

"In ninth, Kamui Woods!" He said as I clapped with Kats, Keigo and Rumi. "In eighth, we have the Sheild Hero: Crust!" He shouted earning more applause.

"In seventh, we have the Ninja Hero: Edgeshot!" He beamed. I kept clapping and as it drew out, my palms grew sweaty in anticipation.

I wasn't one for anticipation. I didn't like being left out of the loop of what was going on around me either. "In sixth, we have Sir Nighteye!" He beamed earning more enthusiasm.

I smiled as my uncle made his way onto the stage. He had recovered from the Shie Hassaikai incident and I couldn't be happier at the sight of him.

"Now we're down to the top 5!" The announcer beamed as he stood on the stage in all his glory. He was wearing a black suit as he held cue cards and letters that he ripped open one day one.

"Is it getting hot in here or what?" He chuckled and I couldn't agree more. It was the anxiety creeping in. I'm going to fuck up, aren't I?

My eyes started blur amd my stomach twisted but I shook the notion of failure away. I have to do this. I can't clam up now. Not after everything I've been through to get here. I pushed my nerves deep down inside of me and focused on the announcer.

"Alright! In fifth place, we have The Fibre Hero: Best Jeanist!" I applauded him as he got up from his seat next to Katsuki and made his way onto the stage, standing in the fifth spot.

"In fourth, we have the Rabbit Hero: Mirko!" He announced wearing a million dollar smile. I beamed at Rumi as she got up and made her way onto the stage.

"Wow, okay. We're down to the top 3!" He announced earning a round of an applause. "Guys I'm nervous!" He chuckled as he flailed his hands about, seemingly shaking out his nerves.

"I don't even know why. It's not like I'll ever be up here besides from presenting." He muttered earning loud laughter from the auditorium.

I ringed my hands together-- an anxious habit I had picked up over the years. Katsuki clasped my left hand in his to stop me and I almost cried from the supportive gesture.

"Can I please call the top three nominees up to the stage?" The announcer smirked as he held two envelopes in his hand. The audience clapped loudly and I exhaled a shakey breath as I stood up.

Katsuki gave me a look of reassurance and I nodded back as I followed Keigo onto the stage. Endeavor also walked onto the stage and we all stood next to the presenter.

"Oh Gee, this is intimidating. I'm standing next to Endeavor." The announcer chuckled. "Don't burn me please." He muttered in a joking manner.

The audience laughed and I chuckled flatly at the notion. Sounds like something he would do. I clasped my right thigh at the thought, exhaling a shakey breathe. He continued, "Nova I'm a huge fan. You too Hawks!" The announcer praised as he turned to us.

Hawks shot finger guns at him and I rolled my eyes at his cheesy actions. The audience laughed as I shoved his shoulder half heartedly. The announcer turned back to the audience, blinding lights shining in my eyes.
