I don't know how I got here. Actually that's a lie, I know exactly how I got here. What I don't know is why the atmosphere is so awkward right now.

Izu and I sat infront of our parents at his dinner table. The air was thick and tense as we ate our food. They hadn't said much to us after we arrived.

I wondered if they were still trying to hide their relationship from us as they hadn't mentioned anything about them dating. We're they worried we would be angry? Did they not want us to know?

As the seconds drew out into minutes, my patience grew thinner and thinner. I awaited their words far too long. I slammed my knife and fork down, snapping my neck up to glare at them.

"Alright. This awkward silence is pissing me off. Speak or the broccoli gets it." I said pointing my fork towards Izuku's head. Izuku shrieked as I stabbed him in the cheek.

They didn't speak so I did it again earning a slap of the hand from the green haired boy next to me. "Bitch, get the hell off me!" Izuku shouted as he snatched my utensils out of my hands.

I rolled my eyes as he held my utensils out of my reach, "You're such a baby. I didn't even touch you." I scoffed. He raised a brow, flicking my forehead.

I hissed and rubbed it trying to soothe the sting. He spoke, "I'm not a rotisserie chicken, Y/N. That's Hawks' job." He muttered as he placed my utensils on my plate.

I chuckled at his jab at the winged hero and picked my utensils back up. "You're broccoli though. So deal with it." I shrugged picking up a piece of green broccoli on my plate and squinting at it while holding it infront of his face, comparing the two.

He rolled his eyes, "I have green hair. I'm not a piece of broccoli." He corrected me.

I raised a brow at him, looking back at the broccoli, "I see no difference. Don't lie to yourself." I scoffed.

He narrowed his eyes and I spoke, "Plus you're dispensible. Just like this broccoli." I smirked as I bit the head off of the piece of broccoli with a crunch. He looked horrified and I burst out into laughter.

"Okay that's enough you two." Inko sighed with a half chuckle as she shook her head. I turned to them and Izuku spoke, "Why are you two being so weird?" He asked them as he ate his chicken.

I nodded in agreement as I ate, pointing my fork at Izuku, "I agree with broccoli over here. Why are you being so quiet?" I asked them. They looked at eachother and then back at us.

My dad pursed his lips and opened his mouth, closing it again like a fish. He finally spoke, this time in tandem with Inko, "We're dating." They told us with a serious face. Izuku and I looked at eachother and a beat later, we burst out into laughter.

They both looked at us like we were crazy. "Well no shit." I laughed as I clutched the table, trying to cease my laughing fit in tandem with Izu.

They looked between us in confusion, probably wondering why their children were dying on the kitchen table after the words they had spoken.

"You guys knew?" My dad spoke in shock. Izu chuckled, his laughter dying out, "It was pretty obvious." He said popping a French fry into his mouth. They looked shocked to say the least.

"I didn't think we made it that obvious." Inko muttered in contemplation. I giggled, "It was but it helped when I caught you two out on a date like a month ago." I shrugged.

They gaped at me and I laughed again in tandem with Izu. They asked how, when and why questions over eachother and I spoke, "I saw you two at a Café in the Shibuya mall. It was pretty obvious you two were on a date." I explained waving my fork about.
