Midoriya let out a heavy sigh, "How did you know?" He asked. Bakugo shrugged, "You bite your tongue when you lie, idiot." He said.
"Does that mean I'm a bad liar?" Midoriya cried. "What do you think dumbass!?" Bakugo shouted in rage. Midoriya frowned deeply at the new revelation and looked out to the display again.
"Spit it out." Bakugo said. Midoriya pursed his lips still trying to hold back the information. "Now Deku." He ordered. Midoriya spoke. He couldn't hold it back anymore.
The good thing was, even though Bakugo and him fought and didn't exactly get along like a house on fire, they could trust eachother.
Atleast they were starting to and he knew Bakugo would never snitch. "I saw her." He said rushed. Bakugo's eyes widened and he grabbed the boys shoulders, "You what?" He asked in shock.
"I saw her Kachan." He repeated. "She's alive and she's gonna be fine." He assured the blond. Bakugo had so many questions. Where? When? What did she say? Who was she with?
He shot all the questions he had at the freckled boy and he started to tell him everything. Bakugo was relieved to hear she was fine and at the same time he was worried for her.
The fact that Midoriya had mentioned that she was protecting a child was enough work but to stop a whole regime...that's another story.
"What if she can't escape?" Bakugo asked the green haired boy. "I think Sir Nighteye is working on saving her with a bunch of other heroes but I'm not sure yet." He responded.
Bakugo sighed, "Atleast she's ok. You better keep me posted, asshole." He said sideyeing the boy next to him. Midoriya nodded, "I will. Uh- don't tell anyone because I was supposed to keep it a secret..." He trailed off.
Bakugo smacked him upside the head, "Idiot! If you were supposed to keep it a secret why the hell did you tell me!?" He shouted. Midoriya rubbed his sore head, "I'm sorry!" He whined.
"Why can't you ever keep a fucking secret!?" Bakugo scolded. "In my defense I don't tell everyone my secrets." Midoriya disagreed.
"You seem to tell me them as soon as you get them." Bakugo said referring to One for All. Midoriya rolled his eyes, "It's not my fault I can't hide shit from you." He said.
Bakugo deadpanned, "That is literally your fucking fault, dumbass." Midoriya rolled his eyes in response, "You find shit out, it's not my fucking fault." He grumbled.
Bakugo grimaced, "Still weird hearing you swear." He said looking to the sky. Midoriya shrugged, "Its weird when you call me by my first name. Stick to Deku." Midoriya grimaced.
Bakugo smirked, "Does it piss you off Izuku?" He said trying to irk the boy next to him. Midoriya scrunched his face up, "Stop, it's weird." He said.
"No." Bakugo retorted. They looked to the sky and the display reached its peak. Hues of purple danced through the night sky, seemingly lighting up the world.
They reveled in the silence until a chant rang through the air. Bakugo furrowed his brows, "Is that?" He asked cutting himself off.
Midoriya's eyes widened at the volume of the chant. It was coming from the city below and it was filling the atmosphere. "They're singing Happy Birthday." He said in shock.
Bakugo looked confused and shocked at the same time, "How the fuck is it that loud? Tokyo is good while away from Musutafu." He commented.
Their classmates were confused too. "Shhh!" Uraraka shush the class. The chants of Happy Birthday rang through the air. "Can you guys hear that?" She asked.
