I had gotten a text from Uncle Z during class saying that Eri had woken up and I was needed at the hospital immediately. I raised my hand during Aunt M's lesson.
"Yes Y/N?" She asked as she paused explaining hero history. "I've been notified that I'm needed at the hospital immediately." I told her. Her eyes widened, "Go ahead." She spoke gesturing for the door.
I grabbed my satchel and rushed out the door. Grabbing a train would take too long. Tokyo was an hours train ride from musutafu so I decided flying would be easier.
I flew through the ice blue skies. It felt amazing now that I could fly again. The cool breeze ruffled through my uniform and hair reminding me of the freedom I so hopelessly missed.
Soon enough I was in Tokyo. I swooped down from the sky and landed outside the big hospital building. Pedestrians clapped as they saw me land and I gave them a friendly wave as I walked into the building.
I walked to the front desk, "I'm here to see Eri." I said. The woman at the desk scoffed, not looking up from her laptop. "Eri is off limits sweety. Go back to school and stop acting important." She said rolling her eyes.
My brows furrowed, "Actually, I'm here because-" She cut me off. "I don't have time for your childish antics. Leave." She ordered still not looking at me.
She was starting to piss me off. Eri needed me right now and she was being insolent. "It's important-" She cut me off again. "What's important is that you leave before I call security." She hissed still looking at her desktop.
I snapped. "IF YOU DONT GIVE ME HER FUCKING ROOM NUMBER RIGHT NOW, ILL GET YOU'RE ASS FIRED FOR BEING INSOLENT TO A LISCENSED HERO!" I seethed. The entire waiting room went silent.
She furrowed her brows and scowled, "You're annoying me, I don't need little snot nose kids barging in and claiming to be a hero!" She shouted.
There was a burning rage inside my eyes. She then looked up to me and her face turned as white as a ghost, "N-Nova!?" She gasped.
I slammed my hand down on the desk. "Give. Me. Her. Room. Number." I said between gritted teeth. "Now." I ordered. She gulped, "I-I'm sorry, Miss Nova. I didn't mean anything by it." She stuttered.
My gaze hardened on her. "Her room number is 509." She breathed. I scowled, "I tried to be nice but you're obviously unfit for such a caring job." I spoke in an angered tone.
She looked down at her hands and I rolled my eyes, storming away. I got into the elevator and pressed the fifth floor. I walked to room 509 and Aizawa was standing outside talking with the doctor.
They looked in my direction and Aizawa smirked, "Took you long enough." He said. I scowled at nothing. The doctor bowed to me, "It's a pleasure." He spoke.
"The pleasure is all mine." I nodded. I then looked to Aizawa, "I took so long because the fucking secretary was being a bitch. She wouldn't give me the room number because I was a 'snot nosed brat' but when she looked up she changed her tune." I berated.
The doctor's eyes widened, "I'm extremely sorry, Miss Nova. I'll have her fired straight away." He bowed. I nodded, "Good." I then turned to Aizawa, "How is she?" I asked.
"She's fine although she needs to be under my supervision incase her quirk acts out." He explained, I nodded my head. "She's been asking for you." He mentioned. "I better go say hi then." I said softly.
When I walked into Eri's room, she was awake and looking out of the floor to ceiling window. She seemed lost in thought until she heard the door creak open.
Her gaze snapped towards me, "Y/N?" She questioned. I nodded with a bright smile, walking over to the bed she was laying on. "How're you feeling?" I asked her.
