Apology

Max's pov

Lucas left I guess I must leave to. It was a beautiful day out so I decided to walk here and back I figured I can go to els since she has been sad I need to apologize anyway but..I don't know why I acted like that. I never meant to hurt el. I love her..I love her so much. I finally walked to the little house and knocked.
"Oh hey max!"
"Hi ms Byers"
"el hasn't come out her room for a few weeks..maybe you can try talking to her"
"oh ok"
I walk in and to els room I knock
"go away I'm not hungry" I can tell she has been crying
"el...it's max..can you open the door please"
"m..max?"
"yes it's me"
The door opened and saw her she was in an oversized shirt and some pants her hair was messy and her eyes were crusted and they were red, her room was covered in wrappers and papers.
"max."
"el, I'm so so sorry I hurt you..I was just didn't want to get broken again"
she just hugged me
"I've missed this" she whispered
"oh el.."
I sat on her her messed up bed but she didn't she stood in front of me just smiling.
"oh uh..sorry it's a mess..I just haven't.."
"it's ok el..but have you been eating.."
"Oh uh...I mean..I.."
I cut her off my picking up her shirt just under her chest area. I saw her ribs. I felt my eyes sting.
"oh my god. El. Come on your gonna eat a 8 course meal."
"Maxxx" she was giggling
When I finish making her eggos she dug all of them up in 5 minutes.
"thank you.."
"your welcome"
I pulled her in for a hug. I felt a swarm of butterflies release
"max..I broke up with Mike.."
"oh..why..?" I felt my grip get tighter
"because only a few months ago I realized that the feelings I felt for mike..I felt for you..are you..still in-love with me"
I was speechless and I can tell el saw that since when she looked up she giggled and I can tell was blushing she looked right in my eyes and I felt myself burning she then came really close to my face and we just looked at each other for a few seconds then she kissed my nose
"Do..you?" She whispered putting her forehead on mine
"yes eleven. I am still in-love with you" I hadn't noticed that we were holding hands. I quickly pulled them away and blushed. I am so glad I came.
