Chapter 12

"I really thought we'd all be at the prawn together, I thought Seabrook had changed," I say as Zed, Addison and I walk down a hall together "it did, believe me, I will find a way to get us to prawn" "yeah and I twin swore that you would go together, it'll be fine Harper," they both say but I have a different idea in mind. "Or, we could miss it together" "I'm not letting you miss prawn" "if you can't go I'm not going" "well I like you too much for you to not go" "well I like you too much to leave you behind, I am so not going". "Ugh, you guys even fight like a perfect couple," Eliza says as she walks up to us "Eliza thank god, save me from third wheeling please," my sister says dramatically and she goes to stand next to her. I lean into Zed as he puts his arm around me, "how's it going Eliza?" I ask her "you know fighting in justice is keeping me busy" "and looking good doing it zombie" I say and we do our little handshake.

"Harper! Addison! Time to officially nominate me as president" Bucky shouts from the other side of the building. "Cheer could be so much more than pom poming for Bucky" Addison complains. Since Bucky is running for president he will no longer be cheer captain and he's looking for a replacement, it's either Addison or the Aceys. In my opinion, Addison will win by a lot but Bucky and the Aceys are pretty close. The Aceys drag Addison away leaving Zed, Eliza, and I. "I better head off too, I'll see you guys later," I say as I start to leave but Zed grabs my hand pulling me back before giving me a kiss on the forehead "now you can go," he says smiling and I can't help but blush.

We were at the student president nomination presentation and Principal Lee was making it kinda awkward. Bucky then made his very dramatic entrance and everyone cheered. Then all of a sudden, Zed was falling down the stairs and announcing that he was also running for president, and this clearly got on Bucky's nerves "he can't run for president, what about the anti-monster thingy" he complains "anyone can run for president Bucky" my sister calls out and Principal Lee agrees. As everyone is cheering for him, someone calls out werewolves and everybody freaks out. I grab my sister and run over to where Zed was standing.

"There she is" "there's two of them" I hear the werewolves say as they run over to where I was standing "where's the moonstone white hair," one of them says "are they talking to you or me?" I ask Addison and she shrugs. "I think you have the wrong person," she tells the wolves.

The wolves talk among themselves before saying "We admire your town and we would like to join your school" and Addison has no trouble accepting them "welcome to Seabrook".

"I still can't believe you're running for president, your gonna ace it," I say to Zed as we walk around the school with Eliza handing out posters. "Thanks, Harper," he says smiling. "I'm gonna go find my sister, she's running cheer practice today so I'm gonna wish her luck," I tell him before heading off to find Addison.

"Hey sis," I said once I found her in the library, "do u feel like we're being watched, or is it just me?" "Yeah, it's not just you" we just ignore the weird feeling and join Bree at a table. Suddenly werewolves surround us and their leader slams books on our table. "Lies. These history books claim werewolves attacked Seabrook settlers but they attacked first and stole our moonstone" she exclaims "I'm sorry, we didn't know that" Addison tells her "there's a lot you don't know" "I know the alarms gonna go off if you don't check out those books" the werewolf then threw her necklace at the alarm, disarming it "our necklaces have a way with electronics" another werewolf says and with that, they leave. "That was weird".
