Chrissy followed the instructions on the note. "Meet me out behind the school at the old lunch table. Bring cash" was all the note said. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't nervous to go into the woods alone, especially knowing eddie was in those same woods. The things Jason and his friends say about Eddie had her terrified of him.

As she arrived to the meeting spot. She looked around anxiously. Eddie hasn't arrived yet so she sat down. After sitting for 5 or so minutes she considered leaving. Maybe Eddie was pranking her or maybe he went and told Jason what she was doing.. the thought of Jason knowing sent a chill down her spine.

She stood up to leave and just as she turned to walk away she heard the clock bells ding again. The sound felt like it was coming from her own head. Terrified, she turned to run away and ran face first into Eddie's chest, and suddenly the noises stopped, all she heard was Eddie's voice.

"Woah woah hey, sorry" Eddie put his hands up to show he meant no harm. "Didn't mean to scare ya" he grined as he spoke, but the grin faded as he realized the blood was nearly drained from chrissy's face. "You okay?" He asked her, concerned.

She snapped out of the confused state she was in and nodded "Yeah, sorry for running into you" she said quietly

"Hey, no problem, let's do this" Eddie walked over to the table and sat down, to which chrissy followed suit, sitting opposite of him. She was still extremely nervous, but he didn't seem mean, he had a friendly face, all smiles..

"So, how does this work exactly?" Chrissy asked, looking down at the table slightly. Eddie explained nonchalantly, cash only, no receipts. Chrissy felt like the entire world knew she was here, about to buy drugs, she was amazed by Eddie's relaxed nature.

"I can do half an Oz for $20, plenty of bang for your buck, should last you awhile" Eddie pulled out a baggie from the lunchbox he carried around. As he did, Chrissy heard something behind her and snapped around to see. Eddie could sense that she was uncomfortable and on edge. So he wanted to make sure not to pressure her into anything.

"You know, we don't have to do this right? You say the word and I'll head out" he closed his lunch bin casually.

"No no, it's not that..it's just.. do you ever feel like you're losing your mind?" Chrissy asked sincerely.

Eddie grined again "umm, ya know, just on a daily basis. I mean, I feel like I'm losing my mind right now, doing a drug deal with Chrissy Cunningham, the queen of Hawkins high." Chrissy smiled slightly, Eddie could tell she was opening up a bit. He wanted her to feel more comfortable around him.

"You know, this isn't the first time we've hung out actually" Eddie said, rasing his eye brows a bit

"No?" Was all she said, had she forgotten him?

"It's okay," with that said, he grabbed his heart as if her lack of memory broke it and fell to the ground. Chrissy let out a gasp as he did. Before she could stand to check on him he stood first. "I wouldn't remember me either" as he stood she was laughing, he had gotten to her.

"Something in my hair?" He said, sarcasticly pulling the leaves from his head which was met from more laughter from chrissy. Eddie would be lying if he said she didn't have an adorable laugh, so he teased her more

"You don't remember me?" He said in a sarcastic tone, crossing his arms. "Im sorry!" Chrissy said between her laughs. "Middle school talent show, you did your cheer routine, you know the-" he made a few sarcastic cheer movements "and I was with my band-"

"Corroded coffin!" She said, cutting him off, excited that she remembered. Eddie repeated the band name and clapped his hands "Oh my God yes I remember! With a name like that how could I forget" Chrissy truly did remember his band now, they went on right after her, she remembered Jason scoffing at them as they went on and Eddie ignoring it.

"I dunno, you're a freak" he said back

"No you looked so..."

"Different? Yeah I know, my hair was buzzed and I didn't have these sweet tats" he pulled down his shirt to show chrissy the tats on his chest. She only caught a glimpse but the action made her blush lightly.

"You played guitar right?" Her memory was coming back fully now

"Uh huh, still do, still do. You should come see us, we play every Tuesday down at the hideout. We even bring in a crowd of about... 5 drunks." Eddie chuckled at the last bit. Which caused chrissy to do the same. "It's not exactly the garden but.. you gotta start somewhere right?"

Chrissy giggled again, and them smiled warmly "you know.. You're not what I thought you'd be like" he really wasn't. He was so..nice, and if she was being honest, cute.

"Mean and scary?" He said playing with his hair, hiding his face.

"Yeah.." chrissy said softly, feeling a little bad for judging him without talking to him first.

"Yeah well, I actually thought you'd be mean a scary too ya know" Eddie said as he made his way back to the table and sat down.

"Me?" Chrissy said in awe

"Terrifying" Eddie said in a whispered voice, which caused chrissy to blush again. When she was near Eddie it was like her problems didn't exist, she hadn't laughed like this in a long time.

"Well" Eddie put the lunch box on the table "in other good news, flattery.. works on me. So I'm gonna give ya 25% off. $15 for half an Oz, you're robbing me blind here." Chrissy couldn't wipe the grin from her lips as Eddie spoke. Something about him just made her smile.

"Do you have anything, stronger?" She asked him. "Well, this is some decent stuff, but if you wanna come by my trailer later tonight I can hook you up."

Chrissy nodded. Normally she wouldn't do this, but she honestly felt like she could trust Eddie.

"Tonight, after the game? I can stop by then?" she said, still smiling. She would have to lie to Jason, but what he didn't know wouldnt hurt him.

"That works perfectly. Do you need a ride? I can swing by after and pick you up if you need it" Eddie stood up with Chrissy and began to walk out of the woods beside her.

"Yeah, would you mind waiting until everyone...-" she stuttered but Eddie understood what she meant..

"Leaves the game? Don't worry, I know the drill" He smiled to show he wasn't offended. He understood the way it worked. She was chrissy and he was Eddie. Being seen together, wouldn't lead to good things. He waved and said "See ya later, freak" with that Eddie and chrissy parted ways. She couldn't stop herself from smiling as she walked out of the woods and back into the school gym to prep for that nights game. Little did she know Eddie was doing the same thing as he walked to his van. Grinning like a fool as he hopped in and blasted Metalica.
