The loud blaring of an alarm was the first thing Eddie heard when he woke up. He groaned and reached out to the clock to shut the annoying noise off. Part of him wanted to go back to sleep but he knew he had to get up. So he sat up and stretched his arms before rubbing his eyes.

He then stood and rubbed his lower back which was a tad sore. His couch wasn't the most comfortable thing, but he didn't really mind. He just hoped Chrissy slept well.

Honestly he still couldn't believe Chrissy Cunningham had slept over at his place. Never in a million years did he expect that. But now he had to wake her up.

He walked down the hall and knocked on his bedroom door, but got no response. So he opened the door slightly and peeked in to make sure she was decent. Chrissy laid in the same place as last night. Eddie stepped in now.

"Hey, Chrissy wake up" she still didn't move at all. "Hey, hello, Chrissy wake up." He shook her shoulder lightly now. And finally she groaned and moved her face into the pillow so she was face down.

"What time is it?" Chrissy said, her voice muffled. "It's a little after 8. You told me you had to be at Sam's by 9 so, up and at em princess"

Chrissy nodded and sat up now and Eddie backed away from the bed to give her space to wake up. After a yawn she opened her eyes and looked up at him. She was still tired, but not from a lack of sleep, but more from waking up after sleeping to much. She felt far more relaxed now. "Thanks for.. letting me sleep here. I would've slept on the couch if you wanted me to. Honestly I don't remember even falling asleep."

Eddie suddenly remembered Chrissy trying to kiss him, he wondered if she remembered it. "Oh yeah? What's the last thing you remember?" He asked, rasing am eyebrow and crossing his arms. "Um, you put on music and then past that it's hazy. I hope I didn't embarrass myself." She let out a nervous laugh.

"Nah, you actually fell asleep a few minutes after that so, you're good. Anyway, the bathrooms one door over, I'm gonna go get my shoes on and when you're ready I'll give you a lift" Eddie went to leave the room

"No you don't have to I can w-" Eddie turned and put his hand up "No its okay. I insist" she smiled and nodded "Thank you Eddie"

"No problem Chris" Eddie walked out of the room. After a moment Chrissy stood up and walked into the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't looked tired, she looked... happy and rested. And that's when the realizations hit her that she didn't have any nightmares. She smiled widely in the mirror for a few moments, happy that she finally found a solution to her nightmares. She had to keep it a secret, but it was worth it.

Eddie sat down on the recliner beside the couch and flipped through TV channels while he waited. After a few minutes Chrissy emerged. "I'm uh..I'm ready to go." but was she ready? She felt like she wanted to stay but suppressed it. Eddie nodded and stood up and clapped his hands once. "Alright let's get to it." He led her out the door and to his van. He jumped in the driver seat while he climbed into the passenger seat.

She took a look around his van because it was daylight now. There was equipment in the back along with a twin bed. "Do you sleep in here?" Chrissy asked him, a little surprised.

Eddie turned his head back to look at the bed as well. "Yeah sometimes, I don't drive under the influence so it's a good thing to have. Plus gigs that aren't close" he then started the van and pulled out. Chrissy just nodded to show she understood before facing forwards again. She then gave him Sam's address.

After a few minutes of driving Chrissy spoke. "Thanks for everything by the way." She said, still looking forward. "No problem, I had fun. You're good company" Eddie grinned. She smiled as well. "So are you, Eddie Munson"

"Yeah well, don't tell anyone. I've got a reputation to maintain ya know" he chuckled. Chrissy giggled with him. He was good at making her laughed, she loved it.

She looked over at him and felt a small sing of guilt. "I'm sorry for the things Jason and his friends say about you.. you don't deserve it" she twiddled her thumbs.

"Nah that's alright. If it wasn't them it'd be somebody else. It's really not a big deal." He smirked. She still felt bad. Bad about judging him before she got to know him.

Shortly after the pulled up to Sam's house and Eddie parked his van. Chrissy undid her seatbelt and Eddie handed her a slip of paper with a phone number on it. "Here's my number. If you need anything, give me a shout. You're always welcome at Castle Munson" she took the slip from him. Their hands connected briefly which gave Chrissy goosebumps.

"Thanks Eddie, see ya around" she hopped out of the van. "See ya around princess." They both wanted to say more, but neither did. So Chrissy shut the door and watched as Eddie drove away. She walked up to Sam's house and used her key to let herself in before walking up to her room.

Sam was sat on her bed still in her white nightgown. Her red curley hair tied up into a bun. She obviously just woke up. "Oh my God there you are! I was about to call" Sam said, gesturing to the phone.

"Sorry I didn't expect to stay there, it just sorta... happened" chrissy nervously smiled and struggled her arms. Then she walked to Sam's closet to look for a change of clothes since they worse the same size. They swapped clothes around often.

"Yeah and did anything else-" she made air quotes with her fingers "-sorta happen?"

Chrissy knew what Sam was implying and scoffed "No! I barley know him Sam, and I'm with Jason. Eddie is just.. a friend. I'm gonna go change" Chrissy promptly exited Sam's room and went into the bathroom. She undressed and pulled a white tee-shirt and a pair of loose short black gym shorts onto her hips. After she got dressed she picked up her clothes from yesterday. She looked down at her pink shirt and brought it to her nose. It smelt like Eddie's bed. Her words rang in her ears, "Eddie's just a friend"

Chrissy shook her head and threw the shirt into the hamper before going back into Sam's room and sitting on the bed. Sam chuckled "So how was it hanging out with Eddie Munson by himself? He seems rude" Sam shrugged.

"I thought the same thing but when we met up he wasn't at all. He's actually incredibly sweet and he's probably the funniest person I've ever met." Chrissy couldn't help the smile cropping up on her lips when she talked about him. "He's just so... comfortable?" Chrissy was trying her best to explain how Eddie made her feel but she didn't know if words ever could.

Sam noticed the grin on her friends face. She never smiled like that when talking about Jason, at least not anymore. Sam decided not to call her on it though.

She instead scooted over and hugged Chrissy tightly, Chrissy returned it. "I'm glad you had fun, but make sure you're careful, okay?"

"Don't worry, I will." The two girls smiled at one another before Sam stood up and walked to her closet.
"Good, now, we aren't going to waste a Saturday. Let's go to the mall!"
