Part 9

Wednesday

Eddie was the first to wake up. His eyes opened and he nearly sat up, but a weight on his chest stopped him. Chrissy still laid asleep, holding onto him. He stopped moving and just looked at her. He still couldn't believe that Chrissy Cunningham actually slept not only in his bed, but with him. He then remeberd what happened last night.

She said she was confused, but he wasn't. He wanted to be with her. When she kissed him back the night before he felt a rush of emotions. But he knew she was going through alot and didn't want to put anymore pressure on her. He understood that they probably wouldn't be together, they came from different worlds. But Eddie didn't know how much more of this he could take.

He looked down at her, the only thing he could think of was how beautiful she looked. She usually had an anxious look on her face, but not now, now she looked peaceful. Eddie didn't want this moment to end, but as he looked over at the clock on his night stand, he knew it had to.

He reached over with his free hand and brushed her hair behind her ear. "Rise and shine princess." Her face scrunched as he said to wake up. "I don't wanna" she said quietly back. "Me either" he thought to himself. "Yeah I know, but unless you wanna ruin your perfect attendance, we better get up." Chrissy sighed and nodded before opening her eyes and looking at him. "Alright Alright, I'm up" she sat up at the edge of the bed, eddie didn't move yet though.

Chrissy took a moment before standing up to use the bathroom, she stretched her back and arms, when she did, the movement pulled the shirt she was wearing up and it exposed her butt to Eddie. He caught a glimpse of her pink underwear before looking away.

"Uh chrissy.." he said, chuckling while looking at the ceiling. She finished stretching and turned around. "Yeah?" She said while yawning.

He just pointed to her legs. She immediately remembered that she wasnt wearing pants. She grabbed the bottom of the shirt. "Oh, sorry" she said, her cheeks felt warm. It didn't help that she was looking at Eddie without a shirt again. The morning light complimented him far better than the dim light from the TV.

"Oh you're fine, bathroom is yours first. If you need to shower, feel free."
"Thanks, do you think we can stop by my house before school so I can get some... more appropriate clothes?" She said with a nervous chuckle. "Of course princess" was all Eddie said back.

Chrissy nodded and stepped out of the room to take a shower. The first thing that popped into her head was that she wanted Eddie to join her, but she didn't ask. The next was that she didn't have any nightmares. She felt so relieved. Eddie seemed to be the answer, not only to the nightmares, but to alot of things.

After her shower she slid back on his shirt as well as her skirt. The combo didn't work to well together but it was only temporary. When she walked into the living room she smelt frozen waffles. Eddie was making them breakfast. Chrissy's hand immediately went to her belly. She hadn't eaten since yesterday at lunch, she wanted to eat now but a voice in her head was telling her not to.

"Oh hey, I made us something quick, you hungry?" Chrissy debated on what to do, but eventually shook her head no. "Sorry, I usually skip breakfast, I should've said something."

Eddie took one of the cooked waffles and put it in his mouth before throwing his jacket on. "All good, you ate last night before the show right?" Eddie looked a bit concerned.

"Yeah of course" Chrissy smiled. She hated lying to him but she hated the truth more. He nodded in response "Okay good" he didn't believe her, but thought best not to call her on it. They got their shoes and on headed out.

Their first stop was Chrissy's house. Thankfully her parents were gone already so they didn't see Eddie's van pull up. "I'll be back in a few" she opened the door and hopped out. "No problem, see ya soon" when she shut the door she heard music blare from the inside of the Eddie's van. She turned around to look at him and saw him headbanging. His hair was going everywhere.
