Chapter 50: Lessons Learned & Honesty

The next morning, Chris and Porsha woke up and cleaned their bed. "Hey um, Chris?" asked Porsha. "Yeah?" he replied. "How come you haven't taught me spanish?" asked Porsha. "Oh! Would you like me to teach you?" asked Chris. "Maybe. But probably after our vacation." said Porsha. Chris then got a little concerned. "Are you okay, honey? Is something bothering you?" he asked. "Oh no! No. Nothing at all. I'm fine. I'm gonna go in the shower." said Porsha as she walked right in. "Alright. I'll make breakfast." said Chris as he heads downstairs and starts cooking. Then Ash joined him. "Morning, Chris!" said Ash. "Morning, Ash." said Chris. "Hey. Do you know if Porsha's okay?" he asked. "Why?" asked Ash. "Well...ever since she found out I've been teaching you spanish, she's been acting strange since she asked me this morning. You don't think she's jealous, do you?" asked Chris. Ash sighed deeply. "Honestly, Chris...I don't know. I mean, has she asked you to teach her?" she replied. "She did. Literally this morning." said Chris as the two remain silent. Soon, Nooshy joined them. She lets out a yawn. "Man, last night was rough." she said as she sat on the chair. "What happened?" asked Chris. "After we got back from the restaurant last night, never me and Johnny have gotten so romantic like that." said Nooshy. Chris chuckled and shook his head. "You guys did it last night, didn't you?" he asked. Nooshy nodded. "Yup. We sure did." she said. Meanwhile, Porsha was in the shower as the water splashes on her fur, she was thinking about what happened. "Do Chris and Ash have a thing for each other? No. They shouldn't have. Chris would never do something like that." Porsha then sighed deeply as she got out the shower and got dressed. She then makes her way to the living room as she sees everyone near the lake. She smiled as she sees Meena coloring with Sunny. "Hey Meena." said Porsha. "Hey Porsha." said Meena. "Have you seen Chris?" asked Porsha. "Mhm. He's down there." replied Meena as Porsha sees Chris near the lake, playing his guitar with Luna and Ash was with them. Porsha slowly frowned as she watches them. "Oh no. They're spending time together. They really can't have a thing for each other." Later on, Ash was writing in her journal until she then puts it down and heads to the bathroom. Porsha walks in the room and sees the journal. She looks through the pages but froze when she saw something that shocked her. She slowly clenched her fists and glares at the bathroom door. Minutes later, Ash comes out the bathroom. "Oh hey Porsha! What's up?" she asked. But she froze the second she saw Porsha looking at her journal. She then slowly walked towards her. "You think you can hide this from me?" said Porsha with a glare on her face. Ash was confused and slowly steps back. "What are you talking about?" she asked. Meanwhile, Chris and Alfonso were playing catch with a football with their kids. "Man, sure is nice coming out in the sun." said Alfonso. "Yeah. You said it. The weather is really nice." said Chris. "Daddy, have you seen Mommy? I was wondering if she wants to play horseshoes with us." said Luna. "I'M GONNA KILL YOU, ASH!!!" yelled Porsha as they see her chasing Ash from the house. "What in the world? Luna, wait here." said Chris as he ran after them. "Porsha, whats wrong with you?! What did I even do?!" exclaimed Ash. "Stop acting like you don't know!!" yelled Porsha. Soon, they arrived at the dock but Chris stops Porsha before she could cause damage. "Porsha! Knock it off!" said Chris as he carried her. Then, the whole Moon Troupe came. "What's going on? We heard screaming." said Rosita. "That's what I'm trying to find out. Porsha, honey, why are you chasing, Ash?" asked Chris. "You don't know, do you? Ash wrote something in her journal. Talking about having feelings for you!" said Porsha as everyone gasped. "Wait, what? Porsha slow down. You do realized that was a long time ago, right?" said Chris. Porsha was confused. "But...but you said you had feelings for him a while ago." she said. Ash sighed, knowing the truth has to come out. "Okay. You were right. I did have feelings for Chris but...all that was 3 years ago. A little while before we went to Redshore City. When I first met Chris, he is a really sweet and caring person. He's always there for us whenever we have problems. I will always be grateful for what he's done for me. I was going to confess when we got to the studio...but when he met you. He seemed happy...and that's what I want for him. Believe me, the last thing I would want to do is to ruin your guy's marriage. Your my friends." said Ash as Porsha sighed deeply. "I'm...I'm really sorry, Ash. I just thought you and Chris had a thing for each other...and I just let it get the best of me." she said as she looked down. Chris held her chin. "Porsha, baby. Never in my life would I leave you. You are the most beautiful and attractive wolf, I've ever met. I love you, Porsha." said Chris as Porsha smiled and kissed him. She then approached Ash and the two hugged. Then Alfonso spoke up. "Well, as long as were being honest, I think I should be honest." said Alfonso as Meena looks at him with a smile and her arm around his back. "I...don't own the ice cream truck. I don't even work anymore. We couldn't pay for our truck and it got sent to the dump, leaving me jobless. I just didn't want you guys to know about it." said Alfonso. "Alfonso, buddy, you don't have to hide anything from us. Sorry to hear it, though." said Chris. "I forgot to mention this to you guys. But I've been keeping a secret from you guys." said Ash. "What is it?" asked Chris. "I'm...pregnant." said Ash as everyone gasped in surprise. "Really?? Oh congratulations, Ash!" said Meena. "Wait. So does that mean your in a relationship?" asked Porsha. "Yes. A while ago, after the whole DiMarco drama, I met a really nice porcupine named Coleman. He's a really sweet guy and...we've been dating for about a year now and we got engaged." said Ash as everyone hugs her. "Well that must explain why you were in bathroom." said Porsha. "Yeah. I took the test and it's positive." said Ash. "Were really happy for you, Ash. Besides, what did I tell you? One day you'll find the right guy and now your going to be a mother." said Chris as Ash hugs him. "Well, I think we've all learnt a valuable lesson today...and that's to always be honest with each other and jealousy is a bad thing." said Rosita as everyone clammored in agreement. Then Porsha and Ash hugged each other as everyone else gathered in. "Group hug!" said Chris as they laughed. Later on the day, the Troupe would go to the lake, where a party was held by other animals. During the party, Chris had something to offer for Alfonso. "An ice cream shop? Chris, I don't know about that." said Alfonso. "Come on, man. I'm telling you it's gonna go great for you. You can be owner and run your shop with your pal again! When that shop opens, everybody's gonna want to come down for ice cream!" said Chris. Alfonso slowly teared up and hugs him tightly. "I love you, man." he said as Chris returns the embrace. "Love you too." he replied. Later on the night, everyone gathered and watched fireworks being lit in the sky. "Chris?" said Porsha. "Yeah?" he replied. "I'm really sorry about earlier. I guess I started getting jealous when I saw you and Ash spending time together. I didn't know how bad jealousy can be." said Porsha. "It's okay, Porsha. I understand. Sometimes when it comes to marriages, there are times where jealousy comes in but what's important is that you've learned your lesson." said Chris as they kissed and watched the fireworks.
