Chapter 52: Another One

It was confirmed. Porsha was pregnant once again. 3 months go by as Chris and Porsha head to the doctors to do another scan. "I can't wait for this one! This time were gonna find out the gender." said Porsha as Chris smiled. Then, the doctor enters the room. "Alright, Porsha and Chris, we are ready for the scan." said the doctor as Porsha pulled her shirt up, revealing her bump. The doctor places the cream on her stomach as she begins the scan. They then get a clear view of the baby. "Alrighty, this baby is all healthy and in well condition. Would you like to know the gender for this one?" asked the doctor. "Yes. We would love to know." said Chris. "It's...a boy!" said the doctor as Chris and Porsha gasped in excitement. "Yes! We have a boy!" said Porsha as the couple kissed. Luna looks on with excitement that she'll have a brother. Over the next few days, Chris and Porsha have been decorating the extra room for their soon to be born son. "I'm so excited! Were gonna have a boy!" said Porsha as Chris smiled. "I'm looking forward to meeting him soon and I have a few good names to pick but I'll make a decision when he's born." said Chris. Porsha smiled and pecked his cheek. They then heard a growl and noticed it was Porsha as she blushed. "I'm a little hungry." she said as Chris chuckled. "Of course you are." he replied as they went to the kitchen to make some food. Later on, they would spread the news the the troupe and their families. 5 months later, Porsha was now 8 months pregnant. She was on her bed folding clothes while eating french toast. She grabbed a large portion of french toast with her fork as she puts it in her mouth. "Mmm!  And this is why I LOVE french toast." said Porsha as she rubs her stomach with her unborn son inside. Luna then approaches her. "Hi, Mommy!" she said. "Hi, sweetie! Excited for your brother to arrive soon?" asked Porsha. "I sure am! I have two questions and it might sound weird but one...how do you have a baby and two, how do know when the baby is coming?" asked Luna. Porsha froze and didn't quite know how to answer, especially after the first question. "Um...well, sweetie. I can't really tell you the answer to the first one it's...a bit of a question to be asked later. I'll tell you when your old enough to understand. But the second one I can tell you. Right now, I'm 40 weeks pregnant and I'm due soon, so I could have this baby anytime now and when the baby is coming, I go into labor. That is what I felt when I was pregnant with you." said Porsha. "Oohh. Can I speak with my little brother?" said Luna. "Of course." said Porsha as she pulls up her shirt. "Hi! My name is Luna and I'm your big sister. I'm really excited to meet you and have some fun. I'm looking forward to showing you all the cool things that we can do together. And...I'm really grateful to have a sibling. Love you." said Luna. "Aww. Luna, that is very sweet of you. Your gonna make a great big sister." said Porsha as Luna smiled and hugs her mother. Over time throughout the day, Luna was putting the final touches to her brother's crib and even set everything up with her toys to entertain him. Porsha has pictures of her ultrasound and she and Luna have made a timeline to keep track how big the baby was getting. The two even began making a memory book for him. *The next morning* Luna slowly woke up to the sounds of chirping outside her window, until she heard a loud scream. She quickly sat up and noticed her mother holding her stomach. It was time. Quick as lightning, Luna got ready and joined her parents on their trip to the hospital. "Oh my gosh! It's really happening!!" said Luna in her thoughts. They soon arrived and doctors take Porsha in the E.R followed by Chris as Luna stayed with Nurse Sue, who Chris asked to watch over her during the delivery. "Sue? Is Mommy gonna be okay?" asked Luna. "She'll be fine, sweetie. You have strong parents and your mother done this before when she was pregnant with you." said Sue. 45 minutes later, Luna was sleeping on Sue's lap until Chris arrived. "Luna. We're ready." he said as Luna woke up with excitement and held her father's hand. They then arrive in Porsha's room as they entered. Luna looks at the bed where she sees her mother with her newborn little brother in her arms. "Hey Luna. Come meet your little brother." said Porsha as Chris helped onto the bed. Luna looks at him with as he was sleeping. "He's looks amazing. Kind of looks like you, Daddy." said Luna as Chris and Porsha smiled. Then, the baby opened his eyes as he sees his family. He then looks at Luna, who waves at him. He slowly smiled and made noises as Luna giggled. "He seems excited to see you." said Porsha. "What did you name him?" asked Luna as she looks at Chris. "His name...is Leo." said Chris as Luna smiled with tears. "I love it." she replied as she looks back at her little brother. "Hey Leo. Were gonna have so much fun." said Luna as Chris and Porsha look on with happy tears. Over the next few days, Porsha was staying in the hospital as the Moon Troupe and her parents along with Malcolm come by to meet Leo and soon, the family would return home with a fourth member of the family. Since then Luna has been bonding well with Leo and she would follow up with her promise and has taught Leo many of the things she done. Later in night, Chris and Porsha put Leo to bed as they watch fall asleep peacefully. They would then head to Luna, who was preparing for bed. "Luna, Mommy and I just want to say that...were really proud of you for being a great big sister to Leo. Your becoming a great role model." said Chris as Luna blushed. "Well...I have two great parents who taught me that." she said as she smiled at her parents and gave them a tight hug, before they all went to sleep as the moon shines over Catalonia.
