Chapter 62: Called Out

In the morning of Catalonia, Chris was in the kitchen eating food as Porsha was out the house doing business for her fashion designs and wouldn't be back until the day after tomorrow. Chris then approaches Luna and Leo, who were watching T.V. "Hey kids. Can I talk to you two for a sec?" asked Chris as the two looks at him. "Thank you. For understanding what I've gone through." said Chris as the two smiled. "Of course, Daddy." said Luna. "I was thinking of visiting Grandpops. You guys wanna come?" asked Chris. "Yeah!" said both as the family got ready and went to Malcolm's house. "Hey! If it ain't my son and my grandchildren!" said Malcolm as they share hugs. "How you doing, Pops?" asked Chris. "I'm doing just fine. Why thank you. Leo! How's your chest?" asked Malcolm. "I'm doing great, Grandpa. It's all better." said Leo as Malcolm pats his shoulder. "And how's my beautiful granddaughter?" asked Malcolm. "I've been well, Grandpa." said Luna as he kissed Luna's forehead. "Now that you guys are here...I got something I want to show you." said Malcolm as he leads him to his room. He then heads to the closet door and as he opens it, inside was a room with trophies and a few belts. "Woah." said all as they see a wolf in boxing shorts and wearing boxing gloves. "Is that you?" asked Leo as Malcolm nodded before looking at Chris. "I hadn't told you this about myself. But before you were born...I was a boxer." said Malcolm as Chris sees a photo of Malcolm and his late mother, Queen. "So...were you still a boxer when you met Mom?" asked Chris. "Well, funny story. Apparently, she fell in love with me after watching one of my fights. I didn't know about it until she confessed to me the next day after we slept together." said Malcolm. "Woah. Didn't know that." said Chris. "But I've boxed until your mother was pregnant with you. So I retired and became a full time father, with a job of course." said Malcolm as Chris smiled. "Nice to know you have a hobby." he said. Luna looks at the photos and sees a photo of Malcolm knocking out an opponent, then eventually holding the championship belt high. Malcolm then stands next to her. "This...was my last fight. Your grandmother told me she was pregnant with your dad. So I made it clear that I would retire from boxing so I could be a father." said Malcolm as Luna smiled. "Hey, y'all wanna watch T.V?" asked Malcolm. "Sure thing, Pops." said Chris as the group heads to the living room, where they watched a few shows until it stopped at a interview. "Good afternoon and welcome to my talk show, where today we discuss singer, El Lobo and his retirement. I gotta say as a fan of him and his mom, Queen, I am grateful for what those two have done for the past 2 decades. Queen, a great singer, among the ranks with Nana Noodlemen and Clay Calloway and many more singers during their time. Chris, which I think it's safe to say, he is one of the greatest singers, following his mother's footsteps but as Chris himself would say, he's just doing what he loves. Now he's enjoying his life as a happy husband and father." said the host as Chris and Malcolm smiled. "Everyone loves you, Daddy." said Luna as Chris chuckled. "Like he said, I'm just doing what I love." he said. Then, the channel switches to a boxing match, where to everyone's surprise, they see Trent in a boxing match against a opponent. "Uh Dad? What's HE doing there?" asked Leo as Chris watches. "Huh. Didn't know Trent can box." he said in surprise. Then information for Trent and his boxing career appears and reveals that he's making his professional boxing debut. He currently is fighting for the heavyweight championship after the champion selected him as his random opponent. 2 rounds in and Trent shocks the crowd and manages to knock him out, thus winning the championship. The crowd applause Trent as he hoisted the belt in the air. "Your winner and NEW heavyweight champion of the world, Trent Dickson!" said the announcer. "Not bad, Trent. Congrats." said Chris. "Trent, you are the champion. How do you feel?" asked the reporter. "I feel so good. Having to win this in my first match, it's insane." said Trent. "Any shout outs you wanna give?" asked another reporter. "Well, I do got one person to say. Chris! I know your at home watching this! I'm a champ! Even though I just won this, I challenge you to a fight to settle this once and for all to see who the better man is." said Trent as Chris slowly glares at him. Luna and Leo notice his glare. "Daddy, don't bother stressing about him. He's just a sore winner and trying to get into your head. Let it go." said Luna as Chris sighed and nodded. "Your right. You ready to head home?" asked Chris as the kids nodded. "Let's head back." he said as he and the kids hopped in the car. "I can't believe that jerk is actually doing something professional." said Luna. As they reached a traffic light, Chris, Luna and Leo heard their phones going off with notifications and as he looks, he sees news of Trent's win and his callout towards him. "Gosh! What's this guys deal?" said Leo in annoyance. "Don't worry about it, kids." said Chris. Then, Luna spots someone on the beach. "Daddy, look." she said as he turns to his right and sees Trent on the beach, reveling his newfound fame. He slowly glares and pulls the car over in the parking lot. "Stay here." said Chris as he exits the car to confront Trent. "Hey! Trent!" he called out. "Oh, looks who here everyone! The one and only El Lobo. To what do I owe the pleasure?" he said as he grinned. "What's your deal, dude? What are you trying to do?" asked Chris. "Oh, just telling people who you really are. A coward and a punk." Trent replied. "Why?" asked Chris. "You know why. What you pulled on me years ago? You left me humiliated in front of everyone in the school." said Trent. "Well you deserved it. You disrespected me and my mother." said Chris. Trent slightly chuckled before suddenly punching Chris in his face. Luna gasped and growled as she ran out the car. "Luna, don't!" said Leo. "HEY!!" yelled Luna as she suddenly kicks Trent in the groin, causing him to be on his knees and then punched him in the face. "How does THAT feel, you jerk?" said Luna as Chris held her back. "Luna, stop!" he said. Trent then starts to laugh. "Well would you look at that? Even your kids have some fire. Did you teach her that?" he said as Chris glared at him. "Let's go, Luna." he said as the two began to walk back to the car. "Yeah, that's right. Run away! Like the coward you are!" said Trent as the family leaves. "Daddy are you okay?" asked Luna as Chris slowly nodded. "I'm fine." he said. "Are you okay?" asked Leo as Luna looks at her fist. "I'm fine, Leo. I'm sorry for what I did." she said. "It's fine, Luna. All that matters is that your okay. Let's just go home." said Chris as he held her hand and takes the family home.
