Chapter 16: Chris's Birthday

On a beautiful morning, Chris was sleeping peacefully as the sun beams on his face. He slowly wakes up and yawns. "Wow. Last night was rough. Buenos dias, Porsha." said Chris. He turns and sees Porsha not by his side. He looks over the room. "Babe?" said Chris. He got out and headed to the kitchen. "Where'd she go?" asked Chris. He then heads to the cabinet to grab breakfast but there's no food. "Aww man. No food. Guess I'm gonna have to shop. Maybe she went out because it's my birthday? I told Porsha about my birthday. Everyone knows my birthday. Definitely Meena. She never forgets. I should just shop." said Chris as he got dressed, grabbed his keys and drove to the store. As he left, Porsha and the Moon Troupe got up from hiding in the living room. "Ok everyone! Let's decorate before he gets here." said Porsha. "I got the presents!" said Ash. "I got the decorations!" said Johnny. "Meena? Do you have the cake ready?" asked Buster. "I got it right here!" said Meena as she placed it on the table. "Do you think he'll like it?" asked Meena. "He'll love it! This is his first birthday without his mom. So let's make it count." said Porsha as everyone smiled. "I'll keep a lookout!" said Nooshy as she went to the roof with binoculars. Meanwhile, Chris was at the store buying food as he looked at the list. "Okay. We need this and that." said Chris. He then turns and sees a group of employees surprising their boss with a birthday cake. Chris smiled as he had flashback of a previous birthday. *Flashback*"Happy Birthday, Chris!" said Malcolm and Queen. Chris smiled as he hugged them tightly. They soon had cake and snacks as they had fun. Soon, it was time for presents. "This is one from the both of us." said Queen as Chris opened his present. He gasped as he pulled out a pirate captain's outfit that came with a toy sword and a toy gun and other pirate gear. "Woah! It's a captain's outfit! Just like a real pirate would wear!" said Chris as he put on the outfit. "I'm a pirate now!" said Chris happily as he hugs them. "Thank you guys!" said Chris. "In the pirate world, you are among the captains of the Seven Seas. You have a ship and a crew. You are Captain Chris." said Queen as she held his face. *Flashback end* Chris smiled as he headed back to the car. Meanwhile, the Moon Troupe was almost finished. "Ok. Just the finishing touches." said Porsha as they were now finished. "We did it!" said Buster as they all cheered. Nooshy then came back down. "Guys! He's coming!" said Nooshy. "Places everyone!" said Porsha as they hid and the lights were off. Chris then entered carrying the groceries. "Babe, I'm back!" said Chris as he noticed the room dark. "Why is the light off?" said Chris as he turned the switch on, where he was greeted by the gang. "SURPRISE!!!" said all as Chris jumped, nearly having a heart attack. "Happy Birthday, babe!" said Porsha as she hugged him. "You...you guys remembered?" asked Chris. "Of course we did. What made you think that?" asked Meena. "It's just...I've never gotten a text or call from you guys about my birthday. At first I thought you all forgot." said Chris. "Aww babe. We'd never forget." said Porsha as she kissed him. Meena then comes out with the cake. As she was about to sing, she tripped and the cake lands on Chris. Everyone gasped. "Oh my gosh! Chris, I am so sorry!" said Meena. "Mmm, vanilla flavoring. My favorite!" said Chris as he licks the flavor. "Well, at least we didn't have to shove his face in the cake." said Nooshy as everyone laughed. After a few hours of fun time, Chris takes Porsha to the boardwalk. "Chris, why did you drag us out here?" asked Porsha as she smirked at him with her hands on her hips. "I thought we could use some fresh air. You know after what happened." said Chris as Porsha nodded and looked at the sunset. "The view is pretty." said Porsha. "But not as pretty as you." said Chris as she blushed and looks back at the sunset. Little did she know, Chris had something behind his back. He got on one knee. "Porsha." said Chris as she turned and saw him on his knee. She gasped. "Chris?" said Porsha. "The day I met you in Redshore City...was the best moment of my life. Laying eyes on you for the first time, I fell in love with you and I can't start tomorrow without you. And now...I want to start the next chapter with you. I wanna grow old with you." said Chris as he held her hand. Porsha was swelling up in tears and Chris was so nervous, he was shaking. "Porsha Rodriguez Crystal...will you marry me?" asked Chris as he shook and presented her with his mother's wedding ring. Porsha sobbed as she nodded. "Yes! Yes I do!" said Porsha as she hugs Chris tightly and he too sheds tears of joy. He puts the ring on her finger as they share everlasting kiss. A few weeks later, Chris and Porsha had their wedding held. Chris was on the podium with Buster on the stand and Alfonso as his best man. "You feeling alright, man?" asked Alfonso. "Yeah. It feels...nervous, but I'm happy." said Chris as Alfonso smiled. Then, the wedding began as Porsha began her march down the aisle carrying the flowers. Everyone smiles at her as they watch her make it to the podium. As she did, Chris takes Porsha's hand. They held hands as they smiled. "Friends. Family. We are gathered here today to celebrate the love life of Chris and Porsha. The two have no doubt, undying love for each other. And that love began when Porsha fell in love with Chris, the second she watched Chris's first time singing in front of an amazing crowd. Chris, do you take Porsha to be your lawfully wedded wife as long as you both shall live?" asked Buster. "I do." replied Chris. "And do you Porsha, take Chris to be your lawfully wedded husband as long as you both shall live?" asked Buster. "I do." replied Porsha. "Then by the power vested in me...I pronounce you both, husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." said Buster as Porsha immediately threw the bouquet of flowers in the air and gave Chris a long kiss as both their tails wagged happily. Everyone cheered for the couple as the party began. Porsha looks on as she slowly looks down. "You okay, honey?" asked Chris. "I just...I wish my mom was here. To see this." said Porsha as Chris looks up. "Actually, I have a wedding gift for you." said Chris as Porsha looks at the entrance. She sees a female wolf, wearing a black dress and a black hat. She gasped. "M-Mom?" said Porsha as she looks back at her and sheds tears. "Angel?" said Claudia as she rushed to her. "Mom!" said Porsha as they hugged tightly. "Pumpkin!" said Claudia as she sheds tears. "I missed you." said Porsha. "I missed you too, sweetie." said Claudia as Porsha looks at Chris. "How did this happen?" asked Porsha. "Well...you've told me how much you missed your mom. So I've spent a few months trying to find her until a few days ago. So I invited her and asked for her blessing to marry you." said Chris as Porsha hugged him. "Thank you, Chris. I love you." said Porsha. "So your Chris, the son of Queen. Thank you very much for reuniting me with my daughter." said Claudia as she approached him and held his hand. "Yes, ma'am." said Chris. "Please. You don't have to call me ma'am. Call me Claudia or Mom. After all, you are my son-in-law now." said Claudia as Chris smiled. "Also, I have heard the struggles you've been going through after your mother died. So I'm here if you ever need anything to talk about, sweetie." said Claudia as she held his shoulder. Chris smiled. "Thank you...Mom." said Chris as Claudia smiled and hugged him tightly. Then Malcolm joins them. "Hey Chris. Congrats again, son. I'm really happy for you." he said as they hugged. "Thanks, Pops." Chris replied. He then noticed Claudia. "Oh and is this Claudia?" asked Malcolm. "Dad, you remember Claudia. Porsha's mother." said Chris as the two shook hands. "Nice to finally see you, Claudia. My wife told me a lot about you." said Malcolm. "Great to see you too, Malcolm." said Claudia as the two hugged. "Come on, sweetie. Let's hit the dance floor!" said Porsha. Malcolm sits on a chair as he had memories of his wedding when he proposed to Queen. Claudia then approaches him. "Are you alright?" she asked. Malcolm then sniffled a bit. "It's just...he's grown up so fast. I wish my wife was here to see her little pup grow up." said Malcolm. Claudia then held his hand. "Well, she had a good husband. Come on. I think it's fair Queen would want you to dance." said Claudia as Malcolm takes her hand and the two dance. Soon the others joined in as the party commenced and afterwards, Chris and Porsha go on their honeymoon. They sprinted past the crowd and got in their limo and drove to the hotel. They arrived at their hotel suite, the newly wed couple have a wonderful time.

 They were in their room as they were on the balcony, watching the beautiful moon glistering over the ocean. The two then face each other and held their heads close. "I love you, Porsha." said Chris as Porsha smiled. "Te amo, Chris." said Porsha. Chris chuckled and the two share a passionate kiss as they fell in bed with the moon shining over them.
