After the visit from his family, the Moon Troupe eventually gave cards to Leo including from Nana Noodlemen and Clay Calloway. Finally, he was eventually visited by his grandparents, Malcolm, Jimmy and Claudia. The next morning, Leo's doctor comes in. "Good morning, Leo. I am here to let you know, you'll be leaving the hospital today." said the doctor as Leo was surprised. "Really? But I thought I would be here for 2 weeks?" he said. "Well remember, we did say 2 to 4 weeks. Even though it's been 2 weeks, I recommend waiting 2 more weeks, just for safety precaution and then you'll be 100% to return to the field." said the doctor as Leo slowly nods. Although, he still won't be able to play, he'll be now able to support his teammates from the sidelines. The doctor takes him to a room, where he would wrap bandages around his chest area and lower body. "Alright, you are good. Just take it easy on the chest and you should be fine. While you train, make sure to lift a little weights so that way your chest can be more tough." said the doctor as Leo smiled. He then packs his things and heads to the lobby, where his family awaits. "Leo!" said Porsha as she hugs him tightly and kissed his forehead. "Hey everyone!" said Leo. "You ready to head back, buddy?" asked Chris as Leo nodded. Everyone got in the car and headed back home. As they entered, Leo was greeted with a welcoming party by the Moon Troupe, his grandparents, Clay Calloway and Nana Noodlemen. "SURPRISE!" said all as Leo chuckled happily. "I thought it be a good idea to bring in a welcome back party." said Luna as she hugs her little brother. After greeting the group, they would then have fun, playing board games and of course, sing. Later in the night, Leo was getting ready for bed until he heard a knock. "Come in." said Leo as he sees his sister. "Hey." said Luna. "Hey." Leo replied as she sat next to him on the bed. "How are you feeling?" asked Luna. "I feel pretty good. The doctor said I should wait 2 more weeks, then I should be back on the field." said Leo. "That's good. On the bright side, you'll be able to travel with the team and cheer them on." said Luna as Leo chuckled. "Yeah. That'll be nice, especially since the team one the last 2 qualifier matches. But when it comes to me coming back, I'm a little nervous that I could get myself hurt again." he said. "Well don't think like that, it'll only keep you down. I know you, Leo. Your a really tough guy on the field. No matter what happens to you on that field...you always get back up. Your a fighter. Even our late grandmother knows that. Remember the stories Daddy told us about her? She gone through struggles to become the singer she was. But what's important was that she never gave up." said Luna as she held his hand. Leo looks at his sister's eyes. "I believe in you, Leo. We all do." said Luna as she hugs him. Leo shed a tear as he returns the hug and eventually would go to bed. The next day was the start of the round of 16 of the tournament. Leo then heads to the locker room, where he sees his team gearing up. "Hey look! Leo's here!" said a player as everyone greeted him. "Hey everyone! I was just released from the hospital yesterday and I have to wait 2 more weeks to be back on the field with you guys. But since I'm here, I thought I'd be here to give you guys support. You guys managed to win the last 2 qualifier games. That's a start but now this is where you need to be at your peak. We only get one shot at this. It's win or go home every round. Go out there and kick butt on that field!" said Leo as everyone chattered in agreement and put their hands in the middle. "Team on 3! 1, 2, 3, TEAM!!" said all as they headed to the field and Leo watches on from the sidelines. With Mark, John and Alex leading the way, they managed to hold their ground and win the game 3-0, a close out victory. Leo cheers on as the team celebrates their victory. Soon, Leo would go out with Mark, John and Alex and eat at the Pizzeria. "Nice one. We got one victory in the bag. Only two more to go." said Mark. "Hey. You heard on the school radio? Apparently, Davis's family issued an apology for his actions on you." said John as Leo looked at him. "Really?" he said. "Yup. But others thinks it's a setup and it's a way to convince the league to lift his suspension early." said John. "Guys look!" said Alex as they look at the T.V. "With another victory for the Catalonia middle school soccer team, reports confirm that their star player, Leo, is expected to make a return to the field in two weeks time. The 15 year old was recently released from the hospital after suffering a scary injury with a big hit in the chest by Redshore's star of their own, Davis. He was suspended by the league until further notice and later his family would issue an apology for his actions." said the reporter. "Wow. This story is getting insane by the minute." said Mark. "Yeah. You know the media. They want to get crazy stories out there." said Leo as he takes a bite from his pizza. He then hears a buzz on his phone and sees it a text from Luna. "Hey, you saw the news? Your getting a lot of attention." said Luna. "Yeah. The media tries to make things extra drama." said Leo. "Alright, we should probably split. We gotta be up for practice tomorrow. You gonna be there, Leo?" asked John. "Yeah. The doctor said I can train, I just can't play." he said as the 4 headed home. The next day, Leo arrives at the school gym, where he and his friends would train together. Following his doctor's orders, Leo works on lifting weights as he teammates cheered him on. After a few hours of training, Leo heads outside to the gym, where his mother, Porsha is waiting. "Hi, sweetie!" she said. "Hi, Mom!" said Leo as he hops in the car. "How's my little boy's day in training?" asked Porsha. "It's gone pretty good. I've followed on what my doctor said and it's paid off." said Leo as Porsha smiled. "Well I'm glad to hear that, sweetie. Wanna go shopping with me?" she asked. "Why not?" Leo replied. The two then head to the plaza as they shopped and had fun together before returning home. A week later, it was the semi-finals of the tournament. Leo was watching from the sidelines once more and support his team. After an intense 90 minutes, the game was tied 2-2 and it came down with the penalty kicks and Catalonia did not miss a single kick as they managed to win the game on penalty kicks, 4-2. Sending them to the state finals. The team celebrates their victory as Coach enters the locker room. "Well team...we did it. We did it. Were going to the finals and I would like to say that I am proud of coaching this team. You guys played your hearts out there and you are all well talented. We are going to be working hard tomorrow but tonight...enjoy this victory. Y'all earned it." said Coach as everyone cheers once more. Leo returns home and lays on his bed, watching T.V as news of the victory spreads like wildfire. He then hears his ringtone going off. "Hello?" said Leo. "Leo! It's Coach." said Coach. "Coach! What's up?" asked Leo. "Your doctor contacted me. He said you have the greenlight to suit up with us come the finals!" said Coach as Leo gasped. "Really?!" he exclaimed. "Yes sir. It's about time you get on the field." said Coach. "Thank you so much for letting me know, sir!" said Leo happily. "No problem, kid. See you in training tomorrow." said Coach as he hung up. Leo cheers in excitement as he rushes down to the living room and tells his family the good news.
