Chapter 65: The Talk

Weeks after Chris's fight with Trent, things were once again calm and everyone was settled. Over the course of those weeks, Chris enjoyed his boxing life. He continues to his reign as champion and becomes a dominant boxer. In a beautiful morning, Chris and Porsha woke up and made breakfast. "Nothing like a beautiful day with my loving wife and our two kids." said Chris as Porsha chuckled. Leo came downstairs. "Morning, Mom. Morning, Dad." he said as he sat on the table. "Morning, Leo!" said both. "So Mom, Dad? My friends are planning on going shopping for some soccer gear. May I borrow some money?" asked Leo. "Sure Leo." said Chris as he goes to his wallet and pulls a $50. "Thanks." said Leo as he puts it in his pocket. "So Leo, now that your getting older. It's time you learn the importance of spending money. It's nice to spend but it's important to save as much money as possible. Come with me." said Chris as he pulls out a computer. "This is a list of the transactions I made. For example, since we live in this penthouse I have to pay $500 a month and $300 for the studio me and Ash own. Now other than rent, I spend money on music gear, $50 for guitar materials and $60 on music speakers. $2 at the Catalonia hotel. Wait what?" said Chris as he saw the transaction. "Uh babe? Did we spend money at the hotel?" asked Chris. "No. The last time we spent time together at a hotel was back at our wedding anniversary." said Porsha. "Hmm." said Chris. *10 minutes later* "Look, there must be a misunderstanding. My wife and I didn't spend the night at the hotel." said Chris as Luna stepped downstairs. "Who is it under? Luna?" said Chris as Luna froze. Chris then hears her. "Stop." he said as Porsha directs her to the couch. "Thank you for your help." said Chris as he hung up and faced Luna. "Why did you spend your emergency card at the hotel?" asked Porsha. "Uh...I was doing a tour visit?" said Luna as Chris and Porsha look at her. "Ok Luna, you know that's a lie. Just be honest and tell the truth." said Porsha as they sat next to her on the couch. "Okay. I went to the hotel...with Jared." said Luna. "Why would you two go to the hotel?" asked Chris as Luna stayed silent until she spoke. "We spent the night there and...we did it in bed together." said Luna as the parents stayed silent. "Oh." said Porsha as the couple sighed deeply. "What made you two decide to do it?" asked Chris as Luna began explaining the story. *Flashback* Luna and Jared were in her room sharing a kiss. "I love you, Jared." said Luna. "I love you too, Luna." said Jared. Chris then opened the door and the two stopped. "Hey! Look I understand you guys are making out but Luna, you know the rules. Keep the door open 3 inches, so we make sure you don't get too freaky." said Chris as he leaves. "Man. I guess that ruins the mood." said Jared. "We never get any freetime here. Can we do it at your place?" asked Luna. "We can't. My parents have a rule. No romantic in the house." said Jared as Luna thinks of something. "Aha! Maybe we can go out to the hotel and spend time there. That way we can have more privacy!" said Luna. "That's not a bad idea. Let's do it this weekend." said Jared. *Friday* The two arrived at the hotel. "Hi! Can we rent a room for the night?" asked Luna. "Sure. How will you be paying?" asked the receptionist. "Uh...can you give us a second?" asked Luna as she turned to Jared. "Do you have a card?" asked Luna. "No." said Jared. "Dang it. All I have is my emergency card but I can't use it unless for emergencies." said Luna. "You know if you use the credit card and don't touch any of the furniture and the mini fridge, it won't charge." said the receptionist. "Alright. I guess so." said Luna as she used the card and heads to the room. "Okay. I got the candles ready. How should we do this?" asked Jared. "Uh, I don't know. We've made out but...we never been this far." said Luna. "Oh. Well Luna...we don't have to do this. We can just spend the night here and watch movies. It's not a big deal" said Jared. "No! I really want to do this with you, especially since this is our first time. I don't want you to think it was all for nothing. I was just worried if you weren't comfortable with this." said Luna as Jared held her hands. "Luna...I love you...very much. Ever since I met you, I felt a spark in me. I felt happy when we started dating. I'm ready for this." said Jared as Luna smiled and the two shared a passionate kiss as they slowly fell in bed, where the two expressed their love. *Flashback end* The couple then heard it all. "And how did you feel?" asked Porsha as Luna slightly smiled. "I felt...happy." she asked. "Now one more thing...did you both use protection?" asked Chris with a serious tone. "Yes, we both did." said Luna as Chris sighed in relief. "Okay good. Cause I don't want to see you a teen mom and let's be honest your not ready to be a parent yet." said Porsha. Luna then hugs them both. "Thanks for understanding." she said. "Of course. But just remember to always be honest with us. Especially for talks like this." said Chris. "Okay." said Luna. "And what matters now, since you almost an adult, you've experienced something new and that's normal. Everyone experiences new things, me and your father had and...well were married." said Porsha as Chris chuckled. "And now your going through those changes as well. So in the future, if you have any more questions. Feel free to come to me and Mom. We can help you and like your mom said, we've gone through those experiences." said Chris as Luna smiled. "Thanks Mom. Thanks Daddy." she said. "Does Jared's parents know about this?" asked Porsha. Luna nodded. "He told me that his parents were surprised by the decision we made, but they understood and told him that he was going through changes as well." said Luna. "As long as they know." said Chris. *Flashback* Chris and Jared were in the living room. "So Jared, the reason why I called you here is because...my daughter told me you confessed to her." said Chris. "I did. I truly love Luna. She made me felt something I've never felt before." said Jared. "You know, you expect me to say no but I'm not like that. My daughter really likes you. She's been like that since last week." said Chris as Jared slightly chuckled. "It's just...not only Luna's growing up...I'm also afraid of her going to the outside world. Especially what happened with...DiMarco." said Chris. "Who's he?" asked Jared in curiosity. "He...was an evil person. He did a lot of things to my family. He had beef with my dad. He even....killed my mom." said Chris as Jared was speechless. "When he resurfaced from prison, he was hunting me, my family and friends. We were into hiding until he found us. He kidnapped Luna and threatened to kill her if I didn't meet him...alone." said Chris as he slowly shed a tear. "So I went to him and he had Luna tied from the top of the spire. I fought him and we were both beaten. My wife came in and helped Luna down and we tried to escape. But DiMarco just kept coming and at one point...Luna tried to fight him but DiMarco pulled a gun and nearly pulled the trigger until my dad stopped him and that point...he was killed." said Chris as Jared was speechless. "Chris, sir, I'm so sorry that you and Luna went through all of that. I had no idea." said Jared as he held his shoulder. "Since that day, I was scared for Luna's protection. That I wanted to keep her safe from the outside world. But as she got older...I knew I couldn't control her life forever." said Chris as he looks at Jared and held his shoulder. "Jared...I need you to promise me. That no matter where you two go...promise you'll keep her safe." said Chris as Jared smiled. "I promise." he said as Chris smiled. "Thank you." he replied. *Flashback end* After the parent's talk with Luna, everything goes well. Luna continues to enjoy her love life with Jared and continues her fun.
