"bye for now honey. our final meeting is now starting."

when i noticed wiles is on the other call i immediately say my goodbyes because our meeting is already starting also.

shes always saying that im not paying attention to her when its not true.

i sense that shes drunk. and because of that i cancelled my meetings.

i immediately grab for my phone and dial the number of yumi to check about them.

"hello madam?"

"napatawag ka po?"

"ah yes. i just want to ask if how is it there? did you all eat already?"

seconds before she answered.

"yes po ma'am."

"okay good. the two? where are they right now?"

i heard some background noises and i think its from upstairs. i got curious.

"whats with the noise?" i asked while checking the files my secretary send me.

"ah mam i cant check at the moment po kase-"

"because?"

it take about 3 seconds before she totally answered.

"ma'am zorel cut the upstairs off po. bawal daw po muna daw umakyat."

i suddenly stood up. "and why's that so?!"

the call ended. and i immediately dial the number of wiles.

im not overreacting. its just the background noise earlier.

and wiles is definitely drunk too. i cant trust her with my daughter in that state.

the last time i check she and my daughter messed up.

my makeups was ruined and my lipsticks is all over their faces. and most of all it was because shes drunk.

i hate it when shes drunk especially when shes with our daughter.

wiles didn't answered me and mainly because her phone is off.

i immediately fix my things my essential because i cant take it.

i miss my family too. thats why i mainly cancelled my meetings.

but while packing my things my attention woke up through my door.

"attorney?"

its my secretary.

"come in."

"yes Gab? do you need something?"

i notice shes bringing the files i need for the next case.

oh God. please not now.

"ah attorney ito po."

"the files and cases you need. pinapasabi rin po ni rin ni Atty. Rex need niya daw po yung tatlong file na may signature and infos mo this evening."

"which one?"

Gab immediately showed me the files. and oh God. why it needs to be now!
