As soon Festus landed in the forest, he limped away, throwing Leo and Calypso on the ground with Calypsos luggage. Leo walked over to see the damage. On Festus's belly, all the celestial bronze had melted together and wires were sprouting from one of his legs. There were burn marks on his back, he was leaking oil and a toxic gas was escaping from under his neck.

"Ok, I'm going to need two sheets of celestial bronze, some new mechanical wires and some motor oil & Tabasco sauce mix." He said and he started to pull wires out of his magical tool belt.

"What do you need the motor oil and Tabasco sauce for?" Calypso asked.

"It's Festus' favourite snack" Leo explained.

Calypso wondered into the forest until she came to a river. Something was reflecting the brightness of the sun down at the bottom of it. Celestial Bronze.
The water was freezing! But she swam down to the bottom of the river anyway. With a few tugs, the giant sheet of bronze came free from under the dirt.
Even in the water, the bronze was heavy. 'How am I going to haul this thing all the way back to Festus?' Calypso thought.
She dragged the Celestial bronze behind her, retracing her steps.

Leo wasn't back yet, so she went over to Festus and comforted him.
About an hour later, Leo arrived with another sheet of bronze but it was a little larger than the sheet she had collected. He also had a paper bag that had a Mexican themed picture on it.

"My dad is always chucking stuff out of his workshop and it's just a coincidence that some of it has landed here." He said.

"Where did you get that?" Calypso asked, pointing to the Mexican paper bag.

"Well, if you walk for a while that way," he said, gesturing from the way he came, "you eventually come to a road and there is a mechanics shop, a petrol station, a supermarket and a Mexican dining place. I picked us up some lunch from the Mexican restaurant and I also got some Tabasco sauce there. Then I went to the mechanics shop and got some motor oil."

"Wow. What about the wires?"

He smirked and dug his hand into his magical tool belt and produced a handful of red and blue wires.

"I got that covered." He said.

It was a slow process of repairing, but after a couple of hours, the only thing that Festus needed was a good polish and his favourite snack. Leo took out some rags wax and began to polish the metal. In no time, Festus looked brand new and he chugged down his oil and Tabasco sauce mixture and Leo and Calypso ate their lunch.

"What is our next stop?" Calypso asked Leo in between mouthfuls of tacos.

He sighed, "My home. People will assume that I'm dead, so our next stop is Camp Half-Blood."

After they had finished eating, they strapped Calypso's luggage back into Festus and took off into the blazing sky.
