Today is the day.
The day that we set out on the dangerous adventure for the Great Prophecy.

To be honest, I don't really know what to expect.
Well, I know for a fact there are going to be lots of monsters hunting us down. I mean, we are 7 of the most powerful demigods at both camps, so.

"So..." Frank starts, "we have a total of $3,000 in mortal cash, how are we going to get overseas?"

"I think we should fly" Leo suggested.

"Nu-uh!" Percy says hurriedly, "There is no way you guys are gonna get me to board a plane. The lord of the sky wouldn't exactly make that an easy journey for us."

"Why?" Leo asks.

"Well, let's just say that he doesn't particularly like me."

"Wow!" Exclaims Annabeth sarcastically, "Go easy on the large words, Percy!"

"Haha. Do you see how hard I'm laughing right now?" Percy replies, his face blank of any expression except for the obvious death-stare he was giving Annabeth.

"So it's a sarcasm war now is it, Seaweed Brain?"

"Uh-huh."

"Well, I simply ooze sarcasm."

Percy pulls a fake scared expression.

"Holy Hephaestus! You sound the the one and only fabulous Mr. D!"

I decide to break up the war "Guys, we really should focus on the quest..."

"Jason is right, we need to concentrate on the task at hand." Agrees Annabeth.

"Well..." Frank starts, "Percy has water powers, can't he get us there?"

"I would, but that would completely drain me of energy." Percy says. "I mean, all the way overseas? I don't know..."

"Couldn't you get your dad to do us a favour?" Frank asks.

"I would, but gods aren't supposed to help us on our journey. I have a better idea. Why don't we just go to the closest pier and rent a boat? There might be some cheap ones..."

"I'm with Percy." Leo states. "We have the money for it."

"Well then, let's go!" Annabeth says and they all catch a cab to the nearest pier.

We arrived at the dock and quickly spotted a boat that was different from the others. Well, by saying 'different from all the others' we mean 'different but also the only boat there'. There were no other boats in sight.

"Uhm, not sure if I'm willing to even touch that boat" Leo says.

The boat looked like it could hardly stay afloat - it was rusty and smelly, with lots of barnacles peppering the sides of the boat that touched the water.

"I'm pretty sure even Leo could build a boat out of twigs and it would still be better than using that old thing!" Frank exclaimed, "It looks like something a homeless man would live in."

Suddenly, the boat rocked back and forth, and out stormed a reptilian scaly body with five long necks with dragon heads to top them off. It hissed and blew fire out of one of the heads.

"Take cover, it's a Hydra!!" Annabeth yelled and we all ducked behind rocks and jetty poles.

The hydra spat poison acid at the rock that Frank was behind but, before he got hit with acid, he turned into an eagle and flew into the air.
The Hydra then spewed fire everywhere, setting the wooden jetty on fire but Percy quickly doused the flames with his water powers.

"Do not chop any of its heads off otherwise two more will grow back!" Annabeth told us, "we need to capture it. Leo, what can you pull out of you belt?"

Leo, who was next to me behind the jetty pole, replied "probably enough thick wire to wrap around that thing!" He started to pull some very thick wire out of his tool belt like a clown pulling colourful tied-together fabric out of his sleeve. The wire was all joined but had and intercept in the middle where other pieces of wire protruded. I grabbed one end and flew into the air as Percy grabbed another, Frank swooped down and grabbed another with his claws and Annabeth snatched an end while she commando rolled from one rock to another. Piper and Hazel grabbed the remaining wires.

Seven really long pieces of wire that were all attached at one end...

"Guys, we could put the wire intercept at the Hydra's stomach and wrap around from there!" I yelled.

"Good idea" Hazel replied.

We all moved into action, Leo held the intercept in place at its belly and somehow didn't get hit while Annabeth and I swung around on the wire like Tarzan ropes, wrapping it around the Hydra. It was spitting poison and breathing fire but Percy used his powers to make sure it didn't harm anyone.

Percy wrapped his wire once around its leg then shouted "watch out, it's going down!" As he then wrapped the wire around its back so it's leg was pulled against its side and it collapsed.
It tried breathing fire on Percy, but as it opened its mouth, Percy shot water into its mouth and it came out the Hydra's nose!

Hazel and Piper worked together, wrapping the wires around its neck, holding all of the necks together. They pulled it so tight that the hydra couldn't possibly shoot poison or breathe fire.

Finally, the beast was down, but we had no way of killing it. It's scales were like titanium and, no matter how hard we tried, we were just gonna have to leave it there.

We all hopped on the crusty boat and quickly set off, putting the compass in the direction of south or south west. There was no way we were gonna make it through the Bermuda in this boat, so we decided we would have to stop at the Bahamas to get a new boat.

"Off we go!" Leo exclaimed while steering the ship.

"How long to the Bahamas?" Piper asked.

"About 4 days" Annabeth told her.

"And then to Liberia, then Cape Town, and, finally, Australia."

Hey guys... I'm back? Updates are gonna be quite slow, sorry I was gone for so long. I'm still trying to add people's characters into the story, bear with me. Yes, the seven are going to Australia, but they are taking the long way around because when they stop at Liberia and Cape Town, lots of things happen.
