Piper

Leo was like a brother to Piper.

Well, not on the Aphrodite side, because Leo was way too scrawny to be a child of Aphrodite (no offence Leo). Nevertheless, she still missed Leo. As she was sitting, she was recounting all the experiences they'd had together.
They'd been on so many adventures together and she didn't want to loose him. She was happy that he was back, but she was really happy for him. He brought a girl! His first girlfriend! And she was beautiful! *sigh*... He was growing up! Gosh piper sounded like a mother sometimes...

"Hey"

She was pulled out of her thoughts by Jason coming to sit down next to her.

"Oh, hey" she replied

"It's good that Leo is back..." He said

"Yeah... Calypso seems nice..."

"But did you see the way she was death-staring Percy?"

"Yeah... I'm not a relationship genius, But I think there's some history there... Painful history." Piper said

"Mmm..."

In the distance, Piper could hear singing. Jason must have heard it too, because he stood and offered her his hand. She took it and, together, they walked to the campfire.

The Apollo cabin led the sing-along and everyone mucked around and toasted marshmallows. Annabeth sat next to Percy (It's like those two are glued at the hip!) but she wasn't smiling and neither was he, Frank was next to Hazel and Nico actually sat on one of the benches - he usually lurks in the shadows, praying to Hades not to be seen or heard.
Leo and Calypso sat together and Travis sat with Katie for some reason - I think they're a new couple? Drew was flirting with Connor from the Hermes cabin and he seemed pretty happy about it.

Some other girls from the Aphrodite cabin were singing and the same goes for the Demeter cabin. Jason led piper to one of the benches that was closest to the fire. Piper shivered and leant towards Jason, who put his arm around her.
Piper started to sing along.

Some people just stared at her. She had been told she had a good voice, but she was still shy to sing in public.
Calypso started to join in, but that's when piper stopped. Her voice was beautiful! Everyone was staring, except for Leo, who was swaying to the music. Soon everyone had joined in, even Annabeth and Percy and they were starting to smile now.

The orange glow of the fire changed to a yellow flame, reflecting the campers emotions - yellow is the colour of sunshine and it can also be associated with joy, happiness, intellect and energy. Annabeth leaned towards Percy, closed her eyes and smiled at everyone's laughter. Percy tightened his grip around her waist. What exactly had they gone through in Tartarus?

Slowly, as the fire died down, people started to trickle away and get some sleep. Piper kissed Jason goodby and went back to her cabin. She laid on her bunk and had a dreamless sleep.

AN: if you think about it, Piper and Leo are half brother and sister because their parents are married! :)
