Time skip to the night before the quest - November the 30th

I was sitting in the dark at the pier when I felt warmth radiate of something beside me.
Percy sat down next to me and wrapped me in his arms.

"I love you, you know that, right?" He asked.

I smile. "You remind me everyday."

He stared up at the stars longingly.

"Percy, stop." I warn him. Thinking about Bob and Damasen would only bring back bad memories.

"I can't help it! Every time I close my eyes and think happy thoughts images of that place burn through. It's like it's haunting me - I can't get rid of it!" He starts to panic. "And now we are going on a quest that is equally as dangerous. What if something happens to one of us while we are out there?! All alone?!"

He is saying it like there is a zombie apocalypse.
He started to shake. I knew this all too well.

"Percy, you need to stop." I said as soothingly as I can. "You are going to have a flashback. Everything is going to be OK."

I held him in an embrace as he trembled. His eyes slowly closed and jerked his head around mumbling things inaudible.
Then he started to scream.
Terrifying blood chilling screams.
I kissed him and told him everything would be alright.

But, heck, I had no idea.

------------

Soon, the moon was high in the sky and Percy's eyes had fluttered open.

"C'mon. Bedtime Perce. We have a long day tomorrow."

He walked me back to my cabin and he gave me a kiss goodnight.

I know, it's a short chapter, but it's just a filler of what is to come on the quest ;)
Let's just say there will be a few sleepless nights
- wait. Of the people who thought I meant something different... NO! I MEANT ITS GOING TO BE TRAUMATISING, NOT ROMANTIC!
