Percy was sitting at Canoe Lake with his feet dangling in the water watching the sunrise when he heard footsteps.
At first, he thought it was Annabeth but then he caught the scent of cinnamon.
"I think we need to talk" Calypso sat down next to him.
"Yeah I guess" he replied, even though he really didn't want to talk right at that moment.
They sat in silence anyway, until Percy couldn't hold it in any longer.
"You cursed me." He said.
"I cursed Annabeth." She pointed out.
"That doesn't make it any better."
"I was angry."
"But you knew I couldn't stay."
"That doesn't mean it hurt any less!" She was getting upset now. "Look, I didn't come here to discuss what happened on my island, I came here to clear things between us because people can sense our tension. I don't want to be known as the ex-goddess that Percy Jackson fell in love with."
"Who said I ever fell in love with you?" Percy replied. A hint of annoyance laced his words.
"It's a curse, Percy. They wouldn't have sent you if they didn't think you would fall in love with me."
"True," he said "but that doesn't mean you have to curse me too."
"Would you just let it go already?" (A/N LET IT GO, LET IT GOOOOOOO!")
"I almost died. Annabeth almost died. It was hard enough battling arae, but receiving a curse from you hurt the most."
Calypso sighed. "I know. I regret cursing you. I was just a little annoyed that the Gods didn't free me..."
"I tried, you know. I really did. I just assumed that they would follow up on it." He said.
"Well, they didn't."
They sat in silence again until Percy remembered the time.
"Oh gods, I gotta go. War council meeting! I'll see you 'round" he said and he ran off towards the rec room.

"Oh, good. Your here." Chiron said as Percy entered the room. "I didn't want to start until all of the seven were here. Annabeth and I have come to the conclusion on one of the lines of the prophecy."
"Today is November the 22nd - the winter solstice is in exactly one one month." Annabeth stated. "Chiron and I have...discovered...what the prophecy means when it says 'the frozen will fall'... Basically, whoever the 'Frozen' are - which Chiron and I assume is the mortals - and however they are frozen, will be unfrozen but hell will be unleashed. So that means a whole bunch of monsters in Manhattan again. The only difference is that the mortals will be awake and... They will be able to see."
It took a while for Percy to catch on. "Wait... what?" He asked. "You don't mean..." He kept silent because he didn't want the others to find out if they didn't already know.
"Uh, yes. That seems to be the case." Chiron says, sending Percy a silent message.

The mist will evaporate.
