"Knock knock." Said Alexis as she walked through the Hephaestus cabin door. "Piper sent me. She said you need some help with magic weapons?"

"Um, yeah. You see, I'm thinking if crafting a new type of arrow. So, you fire the arrow and on contact it explodes into darkness." I said.

"Oh yeah, they're easy to craft. Here, I'll start to make the magic inside them while you make the arrowheads."

I got to work of melting celestial bronze then sitting it in cold water in the shape of an arrowhead. I had done about 18 arrowheads (I'm a real fast worker) when Sia walked in. Sia and I were quite good friends - we were usually on the same team for Capture the Flag.

"Hey, Sia." I called out.

"Hey, Leo." She replied with a smile. "What do you need me to do?"

"I was wondering wether we could use some of your magic on some weapons..."

Everyone got to work.

After a few hours, we had a whole bunch of new magic items, armour and weapons ready for our quest.
Soon after, the lunch bell sounded, and Alexis, Sia and I walked to the dining pavilion.
The usual routine of scraping a portion of your food into the brazier of fire commenced. Please, dad. Help us on our journey south-east. We are going to need to get all the help we can get. I silently prayed to my father.

I went and sat back down in my seat and Calypso sat next to me. I felt a pang of sadness and I realised that she wouldn't be able to come on the quest with us.

"I'm going to miss you..." She said, as though she could read my thoughts.

"I'm going to miss you to, Sunshine." I give her my best sad smile.

"Everyone, listen up!" Chiron pounded his hoof on the ground three times to get everyone's attention. We had all finished our food, but we were held back in the pavilion for some news.

Soon, all eyes were on Chiron and he looked pleased with himself. Something told me that there had been some difficulty getting the attention in the past.
Well, at least he thought everyone was paying attention. My mind was elsewhere. I was thinking about what would happen when Mr. Evil's army will attempt to gain control and destroy the world for a third time.

"... Great Prophecy... Kronos... Another part..." Little bits of Chiron's speech caught my attention.

"So, the lines of the Great Prophecy -

The Seven shall bear the curse of time,
The frozen will fall on the solstice chime,
The spirit is thin of the golden eyes,
But, yet again, Kronos will rise.

The second part of the prophecy -

They shall travel south-east to the desert of Dolores,
Where time is buried six feet deep,
If the clock ticks to chime on twelve,
The world will crawl away to weep.

We will discuss the date that the seven will depart at a council meeting in..." Chiron checked the date, "Three days when the others get back from Camp Jupiter."

I was not looking forward to this quest.

"You are all dismissed to attend the campfire."
