Next day

You woke up early or you can say you haven't slept last night... You took bath and got ready for work. After getting ready Soohyuk woke up... "have you slept well last night?" I asked him. "yes I did! What about you?" he asked. "I slept well too" you lied. You gave him a towel so he can take bath "thank you" Soohyuk said. "bathroom is upstairs at right and I'm going to the hospital" I said "please let me see you off" Soohyuk said.. "it's ok I can go by my own" you replied... You went to take your keys but it was not there you're finding your keys "are you finding this?" Soohyuk asked while showing the key to your car... You went to him to have it as he put it back "let me see you off" Soohyuk said with pleading eyes. You agreed. He went for a bath and soon took you to the hospital...

Y/n pov

I was reading books as Mingyu came in and seated next to me...

Mingyu: you haven't slept last night?
Y/n: yes! I can't sleep since the day I went home.
Mingyu: do you want me to give you some pills for that
Y/n: no it's fine.
Mingyu: by the way y/n! Inspector Kang called me for the reports, he sounds quite angry on the call...
Y/n: they are going to close the case anyway so I'm not thinking about giving it to them.
Mingyu: okay then...

*rings rings* my phone went off

Y/n: Think of the devil and the devil is here

It's the call from Inspector Kang...

Kang: doctor y/n come to the address I send you... You must know this it's about Eojin
After knowing this I rushed out of the hospital with Mingyu...

Author pov

You reached there as you saw the team of police. You went to inspector Kang. He told you the car he found belonged to Eojin but there is no fingerprint found... It was quite weird but then you remembered how you got the call last night from that man and he told you to stop doing things and he have Eojin with him... You don't believe Inspector in any way so you didn't even say anything about it... After the checking, you came back to the hospital...

You believe that Eojin must be fine. he is a quite hard man and fights so well... But there was another thought you had in your mind... He mind be hiding from everyone because he is working on Sora's case...

Evening

Y/n pov

Sun started to go down as it was time for morning shift doctors to leave. I packed my stuff and walk out of the department while talking with Mingyu

Mingyu: aren't you going?
Y/n: yes I am! *eyeing the man who is walking towards me*
Mingyu: you never told me you're this close to Teacher Soohyuk...
Y/n: it's not like that
Mingyu: hello! Teacher Soohyuk!
Soohyuk: hello doctor!! Are you ready to go?
Both of them greeted each other as I left with Soohyuk...

After getting home I freshen up and went to cook something for me and Soohyuk. He is staying here tonight as well... I'm still not over my insomnia but somehow I feel safe when he is here...
We finished eating and soon we went to sleep...

In Your Room

It was already midnight and I was laying on my bed, eyes closed but not sleeping... Something catches my attention. I heard some noise like someone is walking... Fear started to build up. I rushed out of my room to the room Soohyuk was sleeping...

Soohyuk heard the sound of my door and sit up... I went to him and sat next to him. My heart was beating so fast.
Soohyuk: what happened?
Y/n: I heard some noise
Soohyuk stayed quiet and tried to hear the voice.
Soohyuk: it's just a cat... Even the last time I heard this sound...

I calm down and took a deep breath...
Soohyuk: if you're this scared then you should live somewhere else...
Y/n: where I can even live?
Soohyuk chuckles while staring me right into my soul.
Y/n: *gulps* NO!
Soohyuk: I haven't said anything yet
Y/n: ik but I'll not gonna live in your house
Soohyuk: you know me so well...
Y/n: *mimics Soohyuk* yoU kNOw Me sO weLL
Soohyuk: are you going to live like this? I know you haven't slept last night...
Y/n: still no!
