It was needless to say that it was quite dark. "Oh, it's pitch black!" And Luffy was enjoying this.
"Get off of me, you idiot!" While Sanji was getting annoyed.
"Y-Yeah, I know, but... my hands... won't let go..." it was due to Usopp clinging onto him in fear.
"My stomach's so full that I can't walk." This was said by Chopper, as he was leaning on a root belonging to one of the many trees that surrounded them, rubbing his stomach.
"This is pretty exciting." Liàn was jumping from tree root to tree root, with excitement.
"Can we just hurry up and find this stupid bird." Jiàn was moving on the ground, following after his sister while being annoyed by this.
"Yeah, lets hurry up and catch one so we can get back to drinking." Zoro come to say walking ahead.
"How did things get so out of hand?" Nami was asking as she shivered, either due to it being cold or fear. Then again, it could have been both with Robin walking behind her not even bothered by all this.
"Hands off!" The cook finally managed to remove the long nose from his clothing. 
"Damn, could't we do this in the daylight?" Usopp was in tears as he asked this.
"Oi, where's the bird?" Luffy turned behind himself, looking at the others as he was at the head of the group.
"If we knew where it was, we wouldn't all have had to come out here!" This was stated by Zoro, since that was pretty much true.
"The only clue we have is that it's got a weird call." The guys, excluding Jiàn who was standing off the side with Liàn leaning over his shoulders, had huddled together.
"And it looks just like that gold statue we saw." This had been added into the information they knew about the bird.
"Are there really birds that look that screwy?" Although, there was a little doubt about its appearance, due to it being so weird.
"And saying it has a weird call is too vague!" This was placed as it really didn't matter how weird it sounds if they haven't heard it before. "How are we supposed to tell?"
"Well, he said once we got into the forest, we'd be able to tell... That Ossan..." however, only a few seconds later, all were about to hear a bizarre call echoing throughout the forest.
"WHOA! What a weird call!" Once again, all the guys, excluding Jiàn, come to shout.
"That really was weird." Liàn come to say as everyone was looking off to where the sound came from.
"That's it." No of them had a single doubt that it was the call belonging to the bird they were looking for.
"Yosh!" Luffy was getting wild up with excitement.
"Now that we're here, I guess we gotta do it." Zoro appeared to be ready to do this.
"We've got four nets." Sanji stated as he held one, as did Zoro and Luffy, while the last one was in the hands of Liàn. "Let's split up into three teams and search." It had been decided.
"RIGHT!"
"Let's go." Luffy had taken off in one direction. "We're gonna kick that weird bird's ass!" Chopper was following after him
"No, we just want to catch it!" Usopp shouted after the two of them, before he notice Sanji and Nami leaving in a different direction and quickly walked after them. The third team was Zoro that was walking off in silence with Robin following after him.
"Let's go that way!" Leaving both Liàn and Jiàn heading off in another direction together, hoping in finding the bird they seek. The crew had come to separate up into three pairs and one groups of three to begin the search of the forest for this South Bird. obviously, Liàn and Jiàn were paired walking around the dark forest. "You know, this kind of reminds of the old days, doesn't it?" This had been asked by Liàn as she jumped over a root sticking out of the ground.
"The games or the hell?" Jiàn came to answer with a question.
"Hmm... both I guess." Which had her thinking for a second before leaping off the ground and into the trees with little effort.
"Liàn, don't push it." That had been said up to her as she was heading high up. As she was doing that, Jiàn came to stretch his hands to his side where a small side satchel was and pulled a wooden box. "There seems to be enough for a week." He spoke to himself after opening up the box, where a few balls were rolling around. Soon Liàn was crouching beside him after falling from the tree, however, she came to stand up, dusting off the leaves on her. "See anything." This was asked by Jiàn, who picked out one of the balls and handed it to his sister.
"No, but it appears that the others are having problems." The ball ended up being thrown into her mouth after answered.
"With what?"
"Bugs." She plainly stated before pointing off towards where Nami, Sanji and Usopp were. "Apparently, Nana-chan and others are being attacked by a giant slug." Then her hand changed to direction to where Zoro and Robin were in. "Zozo-chan is fighting with large beetles." Once again her direction had changed, this time where Luffy and Chopper were. "Lulu-chan and Chocho-chan are running around screaming."
"They really are a bunch of idiots, aren't they." Jiàn didn't seem the slightest bit surprised by all this and didn't doubt his sister's words. "We're you able to find the bird?"
"Hmm... Yes and no." She came saying this, which didn't make sense. "It appears to be moving around a lot and quite fast too." Until she come to explain that. However, not how she knew all that information.
"What a pain." Jiàn was rubbing the back of his head in annoyance before turning away. "What do you think we should do?"
"Run away." Liàn answered this bluntly.
"What?" He was looking at her in confusion since that didn't understand why she would say that and turned back to her, only to see her looking off into the distance. "Wait, isn't that..."
"AHHHH!" Something was coming closer with large screaming and soon both were able to see that Luffy and Chopper were being chased by giant flying praying Mantises.
"RUN!" The captain was screaming upon spotting Liàn and Jiàn up ahead. "HERE THEY COME! DODGE!" He then began shouting as the mantises had swung their arms. Luffy had come to low himself as Chopper leaped but all around them the tress began falling.
"That doesn't look good." The twins both said as they were looking at a mantises standing onto of the stump of a tree that it just sliced through like butter.
"Something's wrong with this mantis!" Luffy shouted back as he, Chopper and the twins were now running away at full speed.
"AHH!! THE NETS!" The reindeer cried after the large bugs had sliced apart the nets that were being carried.
"WHAT'S UP WITH THIS FOREST!?" The rubber boy was screaming at this question.
"Hey, isn't that the bird?"Liàn seemed to have spotted the Southbird in a tree behind them running.
"Seriously, what is wrong with it?" While Jiàn didn't want anything to do with this anymore.
"It's him!" Chopper suddenly shouted to the three others.
"What about him?!"
"The Southbird is acting like a control tower for the insects!" He began to explaining these things as they were running.
"Is that why they're attacking us?" This was being asked by Jiàn.
"The bird? For the bugs?!" It didn't matter where the four of them ran, they were attack by bugs that were deadly. So much so that the only thing they could do was run, however, it appeared that someone was getting sick of it. "I'm tired of running away!" Luffy was shouting as he was ready to fight against a horde of Hornets. "Let's settle this!"
"No, Luffy! Those Hornets are poisonous!" But he was being dragged by Chopper
"Are you an idiot." and also by Jián as Lián ran ahead of them.  Thought there didn't seem to be any way to escape from the attacks coming from all over.

Hours had passed by and the crew had some how regrouped with another where not one of them had captured a single bird. "No luck. We didn't see a single one." Zoro stated this as he and Robin weren't able to spot one.
"We saw one, but... there were bugs all over the place, so we couldn't get close!" This had been explained by Luffy while catching his breath.
"We ran the whole time." Along side Chopper...
"I haven't run that much since hell." and Jián who had mattered that.
"It was quite refreshing." And for some reason Lián appeared completely fine and smiling away.
"Damn, nine of us and we pull a big zero?" Usopp couldn't believe it, since he expected that at least one bird would have been caught. "Get it together, guys!" Then said that, making sound like they were the only ones at fault.
"You too." Until Sanji said that while looking at the Long nose.
"I can't run anymore!" Nami ended up collapsing sighing that. However, that's when flattering wings caught the attention of Lián, which had caused her to look up to see the strange looking bird sudden flying down onto the breach above where it began jumping around squawking.
"'You'll never catch me! STUUUPID!'" Which Chopper had spoken, translating what the bird was squawking about.
"What was that!?" Usopp taken offence to what had been said. "You came here just to gloat!? Damn it..." He began pulling something from his satchel. "I'm gonna shot you down!" A sling shot been what was pulled out from. But it only caused the bird to laugh. That was until out of nowhere, arms had shot from it's side, wrapping themselves around as another one appeared from the branch and grabbed ahold of the arms before the bird had come falling to the ground, unable to fly.
"If I can see it..." Everyone looked on in shock or surprise before they all turned to Robin behind them, with her arms crossed over her crest.
