The group that Lián left behind were continuing with their pace. It had been a while since she had taken off in excitement. Although there still seemed to be some concern from the others about her leaving, but none from the brother himself. At the current moment they had found and end to the shore that they were following, however, luck would have it that a tree's root stretched across a stream using that, they began walking over it. But under there was a large number of Skysharks, meaning one wrong step and they were dinner.
"Oi..." it was because of this that Nami was only taking small steps at a time, causing annoyance to the person that then end. "Nami, walk faster, dammit!" The green headed man shouted at her.
"Shut up! Quit talking to me! What if I fall!?" However, the girl snapped at him as she was trembling. Just as she said that a large skyshark had leaped up from the river and headed towards them, Nami, startled had took a step back and came to slip. "Argh!" Just like she had feared she began falling. The shark on the other hand had been sliced by Zoro before it fell back down below.
"Oi, you okay?" The swordsman called out over the edge.
"Yeah..." Where Nami was hanging by her leg which had been grabbed by Robin's arms that she sprouted below. "I guess so..." although, she was still pretty stunned by the events. "One thing after the other..." The navigator made it back onto her hands and feet. "Sorry for all the trouble." She managed to whispered loud enough.
"It's nothing." Robin didn't seem all that bothered by it.
"What's that?" Jian on the other hand hadn't even stopped to look back at them as he noticed something in the distance. "A well?" He noticed the small man made well right beside a large root.
"What's up?" Zoro noticed the young man looking ahead. "You find God or something?"
"No, but there's a well over there." He came to point this out to the group.
"A well?" Nami was confused at why he brought that up, on the other hand the archaeologist took off towards it, which had been followed by the brother.
"What the hell is with them?" Zoro was asking this annoying as the pair had taken off on their own, causing him and Nami to follow. "Wanting of by theirselves... All the are so self-centred." He had included Lian in this as she had taken off on her own.
"You're calling someone else self-centred?" The orange head in front of him couldn't believe the audacity he had to say that. "I'd never put up with that crap from you."
"Huh?!"
"I have a feeling we're having a lot of unnecessary trouble because of you." Little did she know that she was completely right.
"Really?" Although, he didn't seem to understand why she would say that. By the time the two of them had made it to where Robin and Jian were, the woman was using her devil fruit down the well, it had brought up a sample of the water or soil that was at the bottom, which they both began looking at.
"This well is strange." Jian stated while looking around at the surroundings, they were clearly standing in some ruins that had been completely over run by nature.
"Yeah, it's unthinkable for the tree to over be overtaking it like this." Robin was in agreement with him. "The balance between nature and civilisation has been upset."
"Well, whatever it is, if we don't find a way to cross the river, we won't be able to walk through the whole forest." Zoro on the other hand didn't seem all that interested in this as he's sight feel on the shore across the large river, it was completely filled with sharks. "We'll never get to meet God here."
"You know, it's almost like the well was built by people that weren't expecting the tree to grow this large." While the other man of the group didn't listen to a word he said as he looked to the tree.
"This is the first time I've even seen such a case." Robin was on the same page as him.
"W-Why does it matter?" At the time, Nami was still recovering from her shock about almost dying again.
"Did you almost get eaten again?" A voice suddenly spoken from behind her.
"Arg!" It only caused her to scream and jump out of her socks. But after turning around she found Lián standing there smiling. "When did you get there!? Don't just suddenly appear out of nowhere!" Nami was screaming at her.
"Jiji-chan, Jiji-chan!" However, the woman ignored her and ran over to her brother.
"HEY! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Which only pissed off Nami even more then before.
"You won't believe what I found!" But she still didn't listen as she was waving her arms around all excited.
"What is it?" He asked since she was all excited, meaning that it had been something big.
"It's so amazing that you won't believe until you see it! This place is amazing!"However, instead of answering him, she had leaped off the root and began pointing off into a direction.
"Did you find God?" Zoro was asking her as this had been the only thing that came to his mind.
"No way! But it's still amazing!" She was swinging her arms around like a child finding a new toy or something. "You won't believe what this island is!"
"What does that mean?" None of them could understand her words as she spoke them and since it was clear that she wasn't going to answer them, they had no other choice by to follow the excited girl that leaped onto her brother's back.
"That way!" She pointed off in the direction she must have come from, kicking her legs that her brother had hooked his arms around before heading in the same direction she pointed off in.
