There was no Jaya in line of sight anymore after awhile of sailing. The going Merry was right in the middle of both Masira and Shojou's ships. "Listen! It's now 7AM! We'll probably arrive at our destination around 11AM!" And were being informed of what was to happen. "Just like Oyassan said... The location of the Knock-Up Stream is different every time! So we need to get there before it happens and determine it's exact location!"
"Watch this, watch this." However, it appeared that there were some that didn't seem to care about it.
"We're a little bit behind schedule-" The explanation had come to a stop upon noticing Luffy turning the head of the South Bird chained to the railing. "OI! ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME!?"
"See, see, see, he turned back again!" It was clear that they weren't as the rubber head boy was watching as the bird's head had pointed back south straight away after letting go of it.
"Man, this is one strange bird." Usopp was right beside him saying, as he was observing it as well.
"He really can't face any way but south!" Luffy was finding this completely amusing as he was now chuckling.
"He really is like a compass!" Lián was also with them, watching the bird while laughing.
"Wasn't that the point of them?" Jián appeared to be annoyed as he was watching from the distance.
"Although, you have to admit that it's interesting." His attention had been pulled away from the group towards the one that spoken, which had been Nico Robin.
"What'd he say?" Usopp had asked this question as the Bird began squawking.
"'I'll look some way other than south and throw you jerks off course!'" The doctor translated this for them, which only caused Luffy, Usopp and Lián to laugh harder.
"I dare you!" The Captain had told it and then it did exactly what it said it would, his head had down a 180, pointing in the opposite direction.
"He's facing north!" The four of them were looking at it, impressed.
"His acting weird." Lián noticed the bird began sweating and looking uncomfortable for some reason. But then it's head was pointing back south once again.
"He's not comfortable unless he faces south." Had been what happened and it caused the four of them to burst into laughter once again.
"Those idiots." But seeing this had caused Jián to shake his head, as Robin appeared to be chuckling.
"OI, YOU GUYS! DON'T MAKE BIG BOSS MAD!" Shouting was coming from Shojou's ship as his men were pissed off and annoyed that the crew wasn't listening.
"Never mind, never mind!" Though it didn't seem to bother him all that much. "My heart's all potter-patter when they ignore me!"
"Why? What's wrong?" This had caused Luffy to look over to them asking. "C'mon, it's too hard to go around worrying about everything!" As the Captain, he really shouldn't being saying that. "We'll just take it easy!"
"And who was it that made us late again?" Sanji rhetorically asked, as it had been the Captain himself that had been the caused.
"But he's right! We can't sail tensed-up for four hours!" Masira come to say to his men and others
"Good point." Which caused Shojou to agree with him. "Alright, boys, everyone slow down and relax at full speed!" That order had been given to all.
"Aye..." They began to relax in response.
"Nice weather!" Luffy sighed into relaxation and the others began following suit.
"You sure about this?" Though it appeared that others didn't completely agree. Before long, a hour, two or three came to pass as they were still sailing south.
"Boss! We've got a problem!" However, this shouting had caused everyone to stop what they were doing.
"What is it?!"
"Night approaching from the southwest!" This had been the answer given by one of the men on watch. "It's a Cumuloregalis cloud!"
"Really?! What time is it?" Masira was asking, as he didn't know how much time had passed.
"10AM! Much earlier than we had predicted!" So much time had passed but there should have still been an hour before time.
"This is bad... Shojou, can you make it!?" This was being shouted across to the other ship.
"Wootan Divers, get into the water! Find that current!" The man had shouted and his crew had began jumping into the ocean under.
"So that's a Cumuloregalis cloud..." Nami was looking into the distance, where the sky was black.
"What is it!? What's going on!?" Usopp, who had heard all the shouting, come rushing out form the storage deck, while above Sanji came out form the kitchen with a pan in hand.
"The Cumuloregalis cloud showed up earlier than they expected! And we still don't know where the current is going to be!" Their navigator come to explained situation. Shojou began using his sonic wave for the divers before, not long after one of the divers had shot out form the water.
"Echo confirmed! Strong ocean current at 12 o'clock!" He had reported. This had set different emotions flying around the crew. Some of them were stunned, as others were nervous, some didn't have much change in the expression, and of course there were those that appeared excited.
"Large creature detected at 9 o'clock! It might be a Sea King!" Another diver had delivered this report after resurfacing.
"Wave opposing the current flow confirmed at 10 o'clock!" Another report came up from the ocean. "It could be a whirlpool!"
"THAT'S IT! All ships change heading to 10 o'clock! That's where the exploding will happen! Fins the whirlpool and don't back out!" The waves soon began to of wild, causing the crew to become unstable with their footing and forcing them to grab onto something.
"What the...!" Of course this was completely out of nowhere, causing confusion.
"The waves are getting rougher!" Nami shouted in shock.
"WE'RE GONNA SINK!" While Usopp was completely freaking out.
"THE EXPLOSION'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN! STAY ALERT!" Masira shouted over all the creaking and wave sounds happening all around them.
"E-EXPLOSION!?" This appeared to have frighten Chopper, as none explained this explosion part to them.
"Navigate-san! What does the Log Pose say?" Robin asked this, as she was trying to catch her feet by grabbing onto Jián, who was holding onto the stairs railing.
"It's pointing straight at that cloud!" Was the answer given after Nami checked the device around her wrist.
"Sky Island's up there?" Everyone had titled their heads up to the large dark cloud above their heads.
"The direction of the wind is dead on. The Cumuloregalis cloud will head straight for the centre if the whirlpool!" This was being said by Nami as she was analysing the conditions around them.
"Oi, what whirlpool? Where is it?" Luffy began looking around for the whirlpool as he spoke.
"Looks like we were right on the mark this time, Brother!" Masira appeared to be excited and happy at this fact.
"Yeah, and it looks like we won't have to worry about the side of the explosion either!" Shojou shouted right back as he was just the same as him.
"We're gonna make it!?" Luffy was asking them both as he was afraid they wouldn't make it.
"Yeah, you are!" Masira's ship had pulled in front of them and soon had hooks shocking from the rear that attached themselves to the railing of the Going Merry. "We're taking you into the whirlpool's current!" This had been informed to them.
"And then? What do we do!?" Nami came to ask this, as there had to be more they needed to do.
"Go with the flow!" However, it appeared that this wasn't the case. "Get as close as you can to the centre of the whirlpool and don't back out!"
"Wow, look at the size of that thing!" Lián was shouting, looking off port side at the large gaping hold in the ocean before them.
"This giant whirlpool!?" Which had the orange headed girl turn pale at the sight.
"WE'RE GETTING SUCKED IN..." Usopp had began bawling his eyes out.
"He never said we had to go INTO it!" As Nami began freaking out.
"Don't worry, Nami-san, Robin-chan, Lián-chan! I'll protect you!" This had been shouted by Sanji, with a look of determination.
"I've never seen a whirlpool this large." Robin appeared to be quite stun as she was looking at it. Then there was Chopper that appeared to be slightly excited by this.
"Do you see that, Jiji-chan!" Lián was pointing at the whirlpool in complete excitement.
"It's hard to miss." With Jián standing behind her, slightly pale but still wasn't showing any expression.
"STOP IT! STOP! LET'S GO BACK!" Usopp was still crying away.
"Give it up, Usopp. One of us is already riding high." This been pointed out by Zoro as he spoke about...
"LET'S GO TO SKY ISLAND!!" Luffy who was all ready to go despite the dangers. But it appeared that danger was more closer then then they thought as something had shot out form the waters surface.
