The water had completely erupted like that of a volcano and a strong force had sent the Going Merry high into the sky. A pillar of water had formed and it reached to the sky above, with the ship riding up it. "W-What the hell's going on!?" Needless to say that there was a lot of freaking out.
"The ship's sailing straight up the surface of the water stream!" This was being explained simply.
"This is awesome!" Luffy seemed to be the only one enjoying this.
"Yeah, higher!" At least, if Lián was there shouting and throwing her left arm in the air.
"Would you not yell in my ear." But Jián was right beside her, not appreciating it.
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!?" Usopp was speaking about how both Luffy and Lián were excited by all this.
"Yosh! Now we'll make it to the sky!" This was being said as the captain was clinging onto the figurehead head of Merry. "GO! MERRY!" And they were going even higher of the stream.
"Hang on. It doesn't looke like it's gonna be that easy!" Sanji had broken the enthusiasm as he noticed something.
"W-W-What's wrong!?" Usopp asked as he hanging on like a flag.
"What's up? Did we forget something?" This had been asked to the cook, since he didn't make sense.
"The hull's starting to come loose!" But the moment this had been pointed out to them, the others all began to notice. "At this rate, we're just gonna get thrown off and fall back down!"
"Y-Y-You can say that, but... W-W-W-What're we supposed to do!?" The long nose was stuttering this question in terror. "It's taking all our strength just to hold on!"
"What's that!?" But Chopper's sudden shouting caused everyone to look ahead of them, as something was head right down at them.
"It appears to be the Sea King that got sucked up." Jián calmly said as Sea King. The one that got sucked into the whirlpool was plummeting from the sky above.
"... Well that seems unpleasant." Lián seemed completely nonchalant as she spoke that, watching the Sea King hit the water.
"Look! There's not much time before we'll end up like that too!" Sanji was right about that, however, it would be far worse for them, since there would be no way for them to survive.
"Oi, oi, might be true, but... this thing's got all the force of that explosion behind it!" He had been shouted up to by Zoro. "It's too late for us to do anything!"
"So it's really nothing more than a disaster!" That was the only thing it could be.
"STUFF'S FALLING DOWN ON US!" And even more stuff began falling from above. "VICTIMS OF THE KNOCK-UP STREAM!"
"Pretty sure those were just shipwrecks." At a glance they got, it appeared to be a shipwreck that was at the bottom of the sea floor before the Knock-Up Stream.
"We're done for! We're gonna fall, smack into the ocean, and die!" Usopp was crying once again.
"Unfurl the sails, right now!" However, Nami, who had been quiet till now, suddenly shouting at the others. This had caused them to all look to her confused. "This is an ocean. Not just some column of water! A vertically-flowing current! And the wind that's blowing us up it was caused by the explosion of geothermal heat and steam! A vertically-blowing air current! If we got the wind and an ocean, it can be navigated!" This had been explained to them, not that they all would understand it completely. "Who's this ship's navigator?" She suddenly asked this question and everyone appeared to have calmed down.
"IT'S NAMI-SAN~!" And the one to answer was Sanji before... "Oi, you louts! Do what Nami-say says!"
"AYE!" The guys had unfurl the sails.
"Someone take the rudder so that we catch the wing from the starboard side!" Nami then ordered for someone.
"YES, SIR!" Both Lián and Jián had moved to jumpdown to the kitchens outside wall. They bent down to open the door before falling inside and using Jián's shoulders to standing on, Lián and moved the helm causing the ship to moving.
"Oh no! The ship's rising off the water!" Chopper was watching the hull lifting up.
"We're falling! We're falling, Nami! Do something, Nami!" At the point, even Luffy was beginning to freak out.
"No, we'll make it!" However, she was confident that this was going to work. And soon the ship had completely come off the column of water, however, instead of falling...
"WE'RE FLYING!!" They were souring up with the wind. "WOW! THE SHIP'S FLYING IN THE AIR!"
"Is this for real!?" Usopp just couldn't believe. Robin was smiling way. Chopper appeared to be at a lost for words.
"Did it!" Nami was Pleased that it worked.
"AMAZING!" Lián had completely freaked out due to excitement as Zoro and Jián appeared even impressed by this.
"NAMI-SAN, YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL! AND I LOVE YOU!!" While Sanji was the same as he had always been.
"If we sail along this current using this wind, we can go as high as we want!" Nami was shouting to inform them.
"Oi, Nami! Are we gonna make it to Sky Island!?" The question was being asked by Luffy.
"If it really exists, it's just beyond that cloud!" Which she had responded while pointed ahead of them to the sky.
"Above the clouds... I wonder what we'll find there! WE'RE ENTERING THE CUMULOREGALIS CLOUD!" The Going Merry had smashed into the cloud, shooting right through it, with Luffy and the others all together hoping to find Sky Island at the end of it all.
