At the feast everyone was talking about what had happened on the train. After a few minutes Dumbledore began his start of the year speech with warnings for the dementors and a welcome to the new DADA professor also known as Remus Lupin, or - when I was little and my dad hadn't gotten himself locked up in Azkaban yet - uncle Mooney.

Those days were over but now he was my teacher. I'll have to go to his classes despite having ignored him for the past 5 years due to the fact that he had made no effort to get in touch with me before I went to Hogwarts. I sighed. I hadn't even noticed the food appearing. When I had eaten a little I decided I'd skip desert and just go to the ministry. I had to tell them of for letting dementors search the train anyway. I said goodbye to my friends and looked up to the teacher's table. I nodded at Dumbledore - making clear I went to the ministry and left.

The next few days went by with me avoiding Remus and making plans with the twins to prank snivelus. It al went well actually. Snape's robes had been covered with sparkles while his hair became a flashy purple color.

Then the time for DADA came. I sat at the back when Remus entered.
"Hello everyone, I'm professor Lupin and I will be your new DADA teacher. Why don't you all introduce yourself so I can learn your names."
Soon all students were saying their names and blah blah while I was thinking of how much I missed my friends, since I skipped a couple of years this was my N.E.W.T. year already and I would be graduating in a few months. I had zoned out untill I heard the girl next to me introduce herself. Now it was my turn to speak up.
"I'm Jane Black."
I looked anywhere but Remus, but I could still feel his gaze on me. I knew he was watching but I didn't want to make any eye contact. Eventually he gave up and started his lesson.

Boggarts - that's the topic. Great juuuuust great (note the sarcasm). I didn't really know what I feared - I mean dying is just the start of a new adventure. I don't really like spiders but it's not like I'll faint when I see one. I ... I don't know what my boggart will turn into.
After we had practiced the spell, riddikulus, we lined up. I stayed at the back of the line. I really didn't know what would happen. However I'll have to get over it considering it's my turn. The boggart seemed to be thinking for a while before it turned into the twins, Lee and Charlie all dead on the floor. I knew it wasn't real but still, it looked like it was.
"Riddikulus!"
They got up and started dancing ballet. The class laughed but I didn't, I couldn't, I had just seen my best friends dead on the floor. I felt like pulling my knees to my chest and sob but my face stayed emotionless. I had learned it after years of practice 'cause grandma always told me that strong people don't put their emotions on display. Only with my closest friends I let them out.

From the cornor of my eye I saw Remus forcing the boggart back into the old closet. He then shot me a worried look. Most people's Boggarts had been stupid fears: spiders, banshees, werewolves, chainsaw maniacs, ... Mine wasn't one of those.
Remus dismissed class and called out to me but I just kept on walking.
