George's POV
When the Howler started screaming at Jane her hair began to turn red. Not weasley red but angry red. She was boiling with anger. By the time the letter was almost finished, it caught on fire and Jane looked extremely scary. Seriously if I didn't know she was only mad at her father and that she wouldn't do anything to me. I would've ran the hell out of here. She stood up, murmered something about ripping someone's head off and dissapeard in a ball of fire.

I looked at Fred the same time he looked at me. He also couldn't believe how someone could get Jane so mad. She always controlled her emotions which made her metamorphmagus powers almost invisable. She had only slipped up once when her hair turned pink when we were teasing her about Charlie but that was a long time ago. Since then she has never slipped up. Now not only had her hair turned a furious red, her eyes had also changed until they had no longer a gray color but looked like they contained flames. She was one scary woman.
Fred snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Who do you think this Remus guy is? It can't possibly be professor Lupin now can it?"
It was a valid question. Who was this Remus and why has she been ignoring him for the past 12 years. It must have had something to do with what happened right after her dad went to Azkaban but what could it be?
I looked up to the teacher's table to see professor Lupin looking a bit pale and worried. Hadn't he hugged mr Black when he was just decleared innocent?
" I think it is professor Lupin. Jane's dad and him seemed to be close when they had just cleared his name." I said. Fred nodded at me.

We didn't see Jane for the rest of the day. I quess she had gone home to yell at her dad and then who knows what she had done. Fred looked as if he had the same thought in his head 'cause he looked a bit worried.
" Hey Fred you don't think Jane did anything stupid do you?"
" I don't know Georgie..." when we were walking back to the common room that night after having gone to the kitchens we heard someone screaming and things breaking. We followed the noise and ended up in front of the Room of Requirement.
The door appeared for us and we entered to find an exhausted Jane just falling asleep on the cold floor. I picked her up and we brought her back to our dorm. She needs her friends even if she won't tell us anything and doesn't let us help her. She still needs us there so that's exactly where we'll be. Right next to her. We all fell asleep pretty quickly.

Jane's POV
I woke up when the sun shone through the window and tried to move only to find out something strong was holding me back.
Or should I say some strong people.
I don't know how but I woke up in a sandwich position with the twins hugging me from both sides.
I was stuck. I saw Lee waking up and looked at him mouthing help me. He just smirked at me and went to take a shower. Not nice.
I stirred around a bit so I got on my side when they just both got closer to me. Causing me to have Fred spooning my back and my face getting buried in George's chest. Oh Merlin this is gonna be awkward when they wake up.

Suddenly there was a flash. Lee had sneaked up on me and taken a picture. The flash woke my gingerboys up and the minute they saw how we were positioned they started blushing and shuffling to try to give me some space.
"You guys are so cute when you're blushing!" I cooed. Making them blush even more. I shuckled a bit to myself before giving them a hug.
" I love you guys. Don't ever forget that." They returned the hug immediately telling me they also loved me. Lee joined in and we just had a cuddle moment. It was nice. Exactly what I needed. I was going to be fine. I had my friends and Charlie and that was all I needed.

When easter break came, the twins invited me to come stay with them at the Burrow. Knowing my alternatives I happily accepted.

When we arrived at Kings Cross, I saw Harry running up to my father and Lee scurrying off to his parents. Then the twins led me to their parents.
"Oh hello dears, I've missed you so much!" Mrs. Weasley said while tackling the boys in a bear hug. Then she turned to me.
" My, you're Jane right? I haven't seen you since that day in the bookshop. How you've grown. The boys told me you were beautiful and they were right." She said while hugging me and looking at me all in a fast motion.
" Muuuum" the twins groaned simultaneously while blushing. I shuckled. We did a bit of small talk until Ron, Ginny and Percy showed up and then we left to the Burrow.

The Burrow was amazing. It was so cosy and it made you immediately feel at ease. It was just so welcoming.

I shared a room with Ginny and she told me all about their family. She told me about Bill working as a cursebreaker for Gringots, Charlie being a dragontrainer in Romania (not that I didn't already know that), Percy being exactly the same at home as at Hogwarts and her other three brothers I already knew. She then told me about her. How hard it was to have 6 older brothers, how she stole their brooms so she could play quidditch as they never let her and how they were always overprotective. I just listened to her while she kept on talking and talking. I think she needed to tell someone all of this so I just let her.
After a few days of hanging out with Ginny and the twins I had to go to work, they had planned some meetings and told me that Pettigrew had escaped. Dang it. The little rat keeps on getting away. The next couple of days I just tried to find him but I didn't have any luck. I decided I would just hang out with the Weasleys and let the aurors handle it. It is their job after all.

The last weekend I went to visit Charlie. I had missed him so much. He gave me a promise ring. He told me he would propose to me for real when I was 17 so we could get married when I was 18. I love him so of course I accepted. From that day on a small golden ring with a blue inscription that said 'I love you' was on my finger. Charlie knows how to make me happy.

After that weekend the break was over and I went back to Hogwarts.
