Cyno and Tighnari were going to go visit the city of freedom, Mondstadt. While getting there would take them days, the actual time they planned to spend there was only 1 day.
After a couple of days of planning, they decided that since it was the city of freedom they should just go with the flow.
Before they left they went to say goodbye to Collei. Collei asked them to say hi to one of her friends named Amber there, they agreed to do so and headed off for Mondstadt.
A couple of days later...
They were both just leaving Liyue and about to enter their destination Mondstadt.
"Have we finally made it to Mondstadt?" Tighnari asked panting in his puddle of sweat.
"Yes once we cross this tower here we should be in Mondstadt then we just have to make it to the city," Cyno replied holding his map of Teyvat tightly.
Tighnari then jumped all the way so that he was in front of the tower.
"Also Tighnari you should know that I have been to Mondstadt before yes?"
"Yes, you went to Mondstadt when you put the seal on Collei."
"Well knowing a bit of the terrain it will approximately take us another 2 hours till we reach Mondstadt city."
"When did you learn to do such calculations? Good education in Sumeru costs about 20 million mora and at most, you only have about 100000."
"You underestimate my intelligence I am the general for a reason you know I bet you didn't pay that much for education too, don't you refuse to even accept your invitation there? With your logic that I can't do basic math because I didn't pay 20 million mora then you would be an idiot too right?"
"How dare you put me at your intelligence level Cyno... I'm smarter than you I just don't want to take your job and I admit your fighting capabilities are higher than mine."
"Whatever let's just move on we can talk about this matter later." Cyno said, annoyed of this tiny argument they had.
The 2 continue walking following the path steadily and carefully until they make it to the city gates by the time they do make it to the gates it is night.
"Wow, we finally made it... too bad it's night so we can't do any exploring today," Cyno said putting the map back into his pocket.
"Yes we should go find a hotel to stay at then we have our day and then we head back to Sumeru."
They find a hotel in the Mondstadt and quickly fall asleep on the cotton bed.
The next day...
They both woke up with the bright Mondstadt sun shining through the window onto their face.
The pair got ready and went off to explore the city and look at it.
In the fountain plaza...
"Cyno is there anything to do in this city?"
"We could explore the city."
"Yeah but apart from that what the hell do we do."
"Well Collei said to say hi to her friend so why don't we do that?" Cyno suggested.
"Yes, I have to admit that is one of your few good ideas. But who is this Amber person? I of course have heard of them before but I've never seen them before."
"I have, they were at the seal with Collei. They seem to be one of Collie's good friends, a friend who changed who she was for the better."
"Wow, I'll have to give them some of the medicine samples I've been testing for free. Just as a token of my appreciation." Tighnari said gratefully.
"Alright, but if you want to find them then follow me."
Cyno leads Tighnari to the Favonius Headquarters.
At the Favonius Headquarters...
Cyno and Tighnari entered the building to immediately see Amber standing right next to the library door they walked up to her.
"Oh hello! You're the guy who put the seal on Collei huh? I can't thank you enough! What you did was very helpful!" Amber chirped.
"Ah yes, it's no big deal. I and my partner have come to you to say that Collei wanted to say hi to you."
"Oh! Tell her I said hi back and that I hope she is doing well!" Amber said happily.
"Alright it was nice talking to you we will have to take our leave now though."
Cyno drags Tighnari out of the headquarters and heads towards the gates of Mondstadt.
"Why such a rush out? We still have tim-."
"According to my calculations, it's already 5 pm."
"Wait really?" Tighnari asks.
"Yes, so we have to go back now." Cyno says.
"Really? The day went by so fast we barely saw anything." Tighnari says, confused and somewhat sad their trip was so short.
"Guess we'll just have to visit again one day." Cyno says.
"Guess so." Tighnari agrees.
