Grocery shopping

(For some reason whenever I see that image I burst out laughing so I have decided to put it there for that reason. This is modern AU where they have a family Collei is their child.)

Cyno lives in a nice house in Sumeru. He has a very nice family he has a beautiful husband that is very hot. He has a very sweet child who will grow up to be a very important person. Today Cyno was going to cook some food for Collei, his daughter.

He walks into the kitchen and opens the pantry to see that they have no food.

"Hmmm, we ran out of food? I guess we'll have to go grocery shopping ugh. I'll go tell Tighnari."

He walks to the bedroom he finds Tighnari laying in bed scrolling through TikTok.

"Hey, we ran out of food so we need to go grocery shopping."

"Ugh really? I hate grocery shopping those stores are always so cold!" Tighnari says, annoyed.

"I also don't like grocery shopping but it's necessary."

"Alright then. Let's go get Collei."

"Alright, I'll go start the car up." Cyno says.

Cyno gets his car keys and goes to start up the car Tighnari goes to get Collei.

Tighnari walks up to Collei's room.

"Hey, we are going grocery shopping go put on some shoes."

"Why do I have to come? I'm in the middle of a game and I can stay home alone for 20 minutes." Collei says, focusing on her computer game.

"You're only 9 years old Collei we can't leave you here. Someone could come and kidnap you so don't be stubborn."

"Fine dad."

Collei turns off the computer and goes to put on her shoes, she then follows Tighnari to the car. Tighnari sits in the front with Cyno. Collei sits in the back."

Cyno starts driving over to the grocery store which is 10 minutes away. Collei plays adopt me on her phone the whole way.

They finally make it to the grocery store, they go inside and get a cart.

"Can I get in the cart pleaseeeeeeee??" Collei begs her dads.

"No Collei you're too old for that," Tighnari responds pulling the cart out.

"But I did it when I was 8!" Collei justifies.

"That's because you were younger now you're almost in the double digits."

"Hmmph! If Amber was here she would let me get in the cart!"

"Well I'm here and I will not." Tighnari states.

Collei accepts the fact that she won't be able to get in the cart and just starts walking beside Cyno.

They then see one of those screens that show a recording of yourself.

"DAD! PLEASE PUT ME UP ON THE SCREEN! I WANNA SEE MY FACE!"

"Ok then! Here you go!!" Cyno picks her up and puts her close to the screen Collei gets amazed seeing herself on the screen.

Tighnari watches them and laughs, smiling, and happy he has such a great family.

"Alrighty! We're going back down!" Cyno puts Collei back down and they start walking again.

They get some frozen food and more. They start walking to the register to pay but someone very surprising ends up being the cashier.

"AMBER!!!!" Collei yells jumping excitedly.

"Collei! I'm happy to see you! Have you made some friends in school?"

"Yes! I made a friend named Kazuha! I visited his house yesterday and it is very cool! He has 2 very nice moms and his room looks epic!"

"Well, that's nice to hear! Anyways do you want a bag?"

"Yes please." Cyno answers.

"Alrighty! I'll make sure to visit the house soon Collei!"

"YAAY! I'LL BE WAITING!" Collei exclaims happily.

They pay and then leave the store they drive back home.

At night...

Cyno and Tighnari are watching a movie in the living room, Collei is sleeping in her room upstairs.

"Cyno~"

"Hmm yes, Tighnari?"

Tighnari puts his hand on Cyno's thigh.

"Let's go to the bedroom~"
