Chapter 6 💜

Amara has arrived in the kitchen and helped her mother make dinner.

"Darling, can you set up the table? The food is gonna be ready in a minute." Amara's mother said

"Ok mom." Amara responded

Amara placed the plates, utensils, and water on the table.

"Thank you darling now, can you call your father so we can all eat." Amara's mother said

"Oki mom." Amara followed

Amara went to his father's office room.

"Hey dad, it's time for dinner. What are you doing?" Amara asked

"Nothing much, just finishing up some work." Amara's father said as he stood up.

The both of them walked out of the room and went to the kitchen.

"Thanks for the meal Honey" Amara's father said to his wife while giving her a kiss on the cheek.

Everyone is sat down on their corresponding seat in the table and started eating dinner.

"So... Mom, Dad I was gonna ask if I can go to a museum this weekend?" Amara asked

"Sure why not, it can be a great time to bond with your friends. So who will be there?" Amara's mother said

"No it's not with my friends it's with my partner we have an activity where we have to find an art and create an essay about our perspective of the art. We tried looking at the library for references however we couldn't find an art we could agree on so we decided to go to a museum." Amara explained

"Oh ok it's for school related but do be safe where is that museum you're going?" Amara's mother asked

"I don't know yet mom my partner said he will be sending me the details." Amara replied

"He?" Amara's father assures what he heard is right.

"Yeah dad partners were picked randomly." Amara said

"Ok darling but do be safe when you go to the museum especially if you don't know the routes much." Amara's mom stated

"Yes mom. I'll tell you the details about it when he messages me." Amara stated

They continued eating, talking about each other's day, when they finished eating, Amara's father put the plates in the sink, Amara's mother did the dishes and Amara cleaned the table and put the chairs back.

"Mom, dad I'm gonna go to my room, do you need me to do anything?" Amara asked

"No, were good, have a goodnight darling." Amara's mother said and gave Amara a goodnight kiss

"Goodnight mom, goodnight dad." Amara said

"Night." Amara's father said

Amara went up the stairs and opened the door to her room as she laid to bed rolling then she remembered her phone was gone. She searched for her phone in the room and after a minute she found it then laid back to bed once again. However, when she saw her notification on the lock screen, she was shocked.
