Amara's mother came back home after grocery shopping and Amara quickly stood up to took the bags and put them on the table.
"Hi darling thank you." Amara's mother said
"Hi mom, how's grocery shopping" Amara greeted with a smile
"Good, there were a lot of people in the grocery store so it took me a while." Amara's mother replied
"What will we be having tonight mom?" Amara asked
"One of your favorites, can you guess?" Amara's mother said
"Is it sisig, no adobo, no barbeque, no everything!" Amara answered
"Um maybe next time tonight we'll be having Kaldereta." Amara's mother said
"Really yay! I'll help cook mom." Amara stated
"Sure but don't you have any assignment?" Amara's mother asked
"Not anymore mom, I already finished it a while ago." Amara responded
"Ok that's good then you can wash the vegetables and cut them while I wash the rice." Amara's mother said
"Now where are those vegetables hmmm." Amara stated
The mother and daughter helped each other cook dinner. Some time passed and Amara's father came home.
"I'm home." Amara's father said
"Welcome back honey!" "Hi dad!" the mother and daughter greeted
"What smells so good?" Amara's father asked
"Kaldereta~" Amara said
"Hmmm can't wait for dinner." Amara's father said
"But before that you need to change your clothes, now go dinner will be ready when you get back." Amara's mother said
"Ok honey." Amara's father said kissing his wife's cheeks and waving at Amara before leaving the kitchen
"Amara, darling can you prepare the table?" Amara's mother asked
"Ok mom." Amara followed
"How can I help?" Amara's father asked
"You can put this Kaldereta on the table." Amara's mother said
"Ok honey." Amara's father responded
They all sat down in their seats and chatted about each other's day.
"Oh mom, dad my partner Gerald sent me the address, it's just one ride away." Amara said
"Do you know how to go there darling?" Amara's mother asked
"No mom but I'll be going with Gerald to meet up at the park and we will go there together." Amara responded
"What day and time will you be going?" Amara's father asked
"On Saturday we agreed on 9 am so we can have enough time to see the arts and come home early." Amara answered
"Ok but you have to be at home before night." Amara's father said
"Daddd" Amara complained
"Your dad is just worried darling, your a girl and you're not familiar with the way and we don't want anything to happen to you okay." Amara's mother said
"I'm sorry dad I'll come home early." Amara apologized
"It's ok." Amara's father stated
"But do message us where you are ok." Amara's mother said
