Chapter 10 💜

Amara woke up earlier than she usually does but she didn't let it bother so she scrolled through her phone time passed and decided to take a bath fearing she would be late if not. After taking a bath she changed her clothes.

*There is still a lot of time why don't I style my hair not that I want to impress anyone just to look presentable in the museum right." Amara thought

She styled her hair in a side braid with a side ponytail to finish her look she wore a butterfly necklace, simple earrings, and a butterfly bracelet to match the necklace. When she looked at the time it was already 8:45 so she immediately wore her shoes, took her bag and phone then went downstairs and bid goodbye to her parents.

"You haven't eaten breakfast darling." Amara's mother said

"It's ok mom, I'll eat on the way." Amara replied

"Ok darling, message us." Amara's mother stated

"Yes, mom bye dad and mom!" Amara bidding goodbye

Amara quickly walked through the streets heading to the park. She looked at her watch and it was already 8:50 which made Amara walk faster. After a few more minutes she arrived at the park and quickly saw Gerald. It was not that hard he was tall and stands out he was wearing a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt inside, black pants, and black shoes with his hair styled not the usual like in the school which was just down but today his hair was neatly styled. On the other hand, Amara is wearing a white off-shoulder dress with the length just above her knees, white shoulder bag, and black sandals.

"Sorry for the wait." Amara apologized

"It's ok." Gerald responded

"We have to walk a little before we can ride to the museum." Gerald said

"Yeah sure." Amara replied

Gerald and Amara walked together for a few minutes eventually riding on a transportation heading to the museum. As they entered the transportation Gerald was always behind Amara and let her in the window not because he didn't want the window spot but because Amara was wearing a skirt. Time passed and Gerald stood up indicating it's their stop, so he let Amara stand up and walked down. To Amara's surprise she saw food stalls.

"We aren't in the museum?" Amara questioned

"We should eat first because food isn't allowed in the museum." Gerlad answered

"Oh ok." Amara said

But what Amara didn't know is that Gerald noticed that Amara kept putting her palm in her stomach the whole ride which Gerald concluded that Amara didn't have breakfast.

"Oh, look at the Taiyaki stall!" Amara pointed at the stall

Amara quickly went to the stall and Gerald followed

"Look, look, they are so delicious. Oh! look they also have ice cream on top!" Amara said in excitement while pointing at the Taiyaki.

"It's too early for ice cream." Gerald commented

"Ok" Amara replied a little sad

"So, what flavor should we get?" Amara asked

"I'll get what you get." Gerald replied

Amara then thought of what flavor is the best.

"We'll have 2 red beans Taiyaki please!" Amara said

Amara was so excited looking at the process of how the Taiyaki was made and when they got the order Gerald quickly took the hot Taiyaki.

"Be careful it's still hot." The vendor warned

Gerald is still holding the 2 hot Taiyaki while Amara tries to take hers. After a few minutes Amara was able to successfully hold the hot Taiyaki. While Amara was blowing her Taiyaki to let it cool Gerld was already paying for the 2 Taiyaki and ordered 2 drinks. When the drinks arrived, Gerald gave Amara her drink.
